I just got too. Got hooked and shooting away. It's an awesome piece of glass. Sharp, great IQ.

Haha....they had me at the RX1R....then I saw the price..... Despite it all, I do like the A7 series bodies. Built like a tank. Didn't need 42mpix so.......

Hahaha...thankfully, I'm moving away from extreme isolation photography and onto more "content rich" story telling type of photography..... My aim is to set aperture on F8 on a nice piece of glass with great depth of field and shoot from the hip.

Horses for courses? If anything, we can thank sony for showing the world what happens when you put a FF sensor in a mirrorless body.

I think that quote's by xovi. And yes, I agree. Hopefully running cooler doesn't mean slower processor...

I'm of the opinion that you've made the right choice with the 60. I have both and despite it's AF characteristics, I actually shoot more with and find shooting the 60 more fulfilling. The 56, I take out on very specific personal assignments or if lighting is going to be an impossible challenge.

I was beginning to be a fan of their DSLT when it suddenly went.......... For one, I had grown rather fond of their unique shape. And then came the A7......like a needle jumping tracks, I had to change idee recue on another unique shape. The host of giant lenses made me wonder even more... I'm not sure how, (like Milandro mentioned) fast lenses in demand like the 33F1 would enable Fujifilm to differentiate themselves from the compact-mirrorless-giant-lens category.

Pot calling kettle black? Although I'm guilty as charged, I definitely don't hope what you've mentioned to happen. I was very glad that the XF56 F1.2 was a lot smaller than the EF85 F1.2.

Show us the doughnut background!

On a wider perspective, it does look as if Sony is trying to reinvent/recreate their market share. While I have nothing against them or their gear, I do find moving back to "dslr" size on a mirrorless platform a bit oxymoronic.

Would you make a “ relic” version of your camera and why?

So that you can make one up? -
What was that all about?

Looks as if Sony is trying to replace dslrs with their mirrorless. The mirrorless concept of compactness is just one of the key selling point. It explains why their dslr range is almost non existent. It looks like a niche marketing idea. Other than a Fujifilm MF, I really hope Fujifilm don't do a FF mirrorless and end up with gigantic lenses. Back to square one for consumers if that happens. No one expected aps-c Fujifilm mirrorless to be so good when it first emerge. Most accepted their typical drawbacks back then but today, it's a different story. We're (Fujifilm) moving closer and closer to dslr territory. I'd like to think of it as a "David and the Goiliath"....let's hope Fujifilm keeps it that way.

Over clocking in the xpro2's Processor X Pro?

A very interesting read..... http://petapixel.com/2016/04/04/sonys-full-frame-pro-mirrorless-fatal-mistake/

It's all a matter of getting used to. Of the 3, Nikon is the only camera which allows pretty direct access to settings via buttons and switches on the outside of it's body. It calls more most of your fingers being used. Once you've mastered or gotten used to it, it makes shooting very fast.

Will have to wait and hear what Fujifilm has to say. Not too sure if firmware can "calibrate" the evf. By right it should.

That's great. Do update us with your review then. I'm looking at buying one too.

Does sound like the X-T2 is your machine. Hope it doesn't have the same issues.

Just how precise is your OVF ?
Aswald replied to stefkaz's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
With the XPro1, OVF accuracy is about 85 - 90% at best. With that in mind, I try to shoot a bit wider and crop. Some post processing is necessary. The real problem comes when subject is close (like min focus distance of lens) where the hypothetical AF point may be a few mm off from the subject. With these in mind, the ovf is both a joy and challenge to use. Esp, when I nail it. -
Looks interesting and pretty affordable. I read somewhere that one user reported that he had a unit where an internal lens seems loose..... read user wonjohnsoup http://www.fujix-forum.com/threads/zonlai-25mm-f-1-8-lens-comes-in-sony-e-mft-and-fuji-x-mount.49029/page-2

Mine is ok. Not too warm unless I use video...or if I shoot continuously for more than 30 mins...

My Nikon D7000 rubber comes off here and there. I've had the sticky, gooey issue from the Nikon F series cameras..... No issue from Canon A or F series. No issue from any of my canon DSLR or Fujifilm X Cameras....so far.

I would say the EVF is "whiter" than the LCD. I've just checked, both the X-Pro2 and X-Pro1 are like that. Funny thing is, it never bothered me and I didn't notice it until you mentioned it.

Moving object in low light with Xpro2
Aswald replied to Joostven's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
It all depends on whether your AF can track. And also whether your strobe can do multi burst quickly enough.
