    Are you the type that upgrades every two years? You had better baby the cameras then. I'm on a much longer buying cycle, and don't mind working my T1 really hard. Still, there is room for taking care of equipment without babying it. I keep my gear in a camera bag or backpack, generally careful not to scratch or drop it, and it gets wiped off after a seascape expedition.

    A lens is only as good as the photos created with it.

    So with the Swedish site, is it better for them to show a smaller profile to bump up their preorder numbers, at the risk of cancellations when the real lens is shown?

    Now that the X-Pro 2 is out I hope we will still get 5.0 I would like to receive the new jpeg engine that allows adjustments from -5 to +5. Actos film simulation and grain effect would also be nice.

    I would prefer them to go as small as possible, competing with the Panasonic LX100 and Sony RX100. Not sure how that would succeed in the current market, though.

    For street, landscape and travel you don't even really need autofocus in my opinion. Take a look at bloggers and photographers who have used the X-PRO 1 for lots of fine work

    As others have said, its nice to have options. It is perfectly feasible to leave the camera on AF-S or manual focus and shoot the same way you were shooting before 4.0 arrived. Personally, I am lukewarm about the zone tracking, but really happy with continuous focusing that really works now and better functionality from the phase-detect points.

    Went for a lunch walk, practiced with the 35mm 1.4 and 14mm 2.8 AF-C Wide Tracking is really amazing for tracking trams, cars, horses, etc. Spot on every frame with minimal effort. The 3x3 zone AF-S focuses very quickly with the 35mm lens. This will probably be my default AF mode from now on.

    Installed now. Can't see any change in jpeg file sizes, or any settings to affect this.

    "The 35mm does not pulse back and force anymore it just locks on!! amazing!! " What mode are you using for this? Office just got busy but will test it soon with the 35mm and 14mm lenses.
