  9. For this week's article, I had a rare day to myself and atypical weather. So let's take a trip into town and try and capture the mood. Enjoy! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-three/

  11. On the Way Down by Adam Bonn, on Flickr Good ol' Porto light
  12. Thank you very much Peter, The 14 and the 90 are the only primes I've yet too try actually Maybe I'll ask for them nexr
  13. I've finished writing up my comparison of the two 23s I haven't looked at the two 35s yet - but if you harmonise exposure between the 23s you see a big difference in colour/contrast rendering you can see this in my examples in part three http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-two/ There's also some examples of this in part two http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-one/
  14. The final part of my three instalment article that compares the two XF23s (F1.4 & F2) Today, I finish comparing the rendering differences between the two 23s and as is the custom which such things - I write a conclusion! Enjoy! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-two/
  15. Comparisons are tricky. Comparing things takes two forms, variable data and attribute data Say we are comparing two cars. Variable data is easy: which car is fastest, which one has the biggest engine, which one has the most seats etc But attribute data is hard: which car is the nicer colour, which has the more stylish interior etc The same apllies to the two X-Pros Which has the most features etc But even the images The XP2 has more DR, bigger files, more acurity, better ISO performance But that doesn't mean that one might not prefer the look and style of the original In reality, I personally find that comparing two things that do the same job is always win some/lose some I'm sure that if someone took out both cameras and took many shots, in many different places, duplicating the same scenes. Then they compared all the files, they'd prefer some from one camera and some from the other.
  16. Continuing my three part article that compares the two XF23s (F1.4 & F2) Today, in part two I look at the rendering differences between the two 23s Enjoy! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-one/
  17. Not sure if this is a cityscape or not! New Build by Adam Bonn, on Flickr
  18. Today I start off a three part article that compares the two XF23s (F1.4 & F2) Over this series I'll be taking a close look at both lenses, their pros and cons, and attempting to answer the questions I've received about these lenses Enjoy! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty/
  19. X-pro1 & xf35 f1.4 at Matosinhos beach Walking/Watching/Playing by Adam Bonn, on Flickr
  20. The two 23s have different colours and contrast. I haven't checked the 35s yet Oh and one of the 23s isn't really 23 (either the 1.4 one is maybe 25 or the f2 one is maybe 21)
  21. Fujifilm PT lent me the 23 and 50 F2 WR lenses (I already have the 35 F2) I've a lot of content planned around these lenses and comparing them to the F1.4/1.2 versions; but to begin with - what's it like if we pair the new F2 trio with the original X series X-Pro1? http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-seventy-nine/
  22. The APD isn't a newer lens. It's just what i had on the camera at the time
