  1. My final post for 2017. Typical fare I guess.... A TINY look at Fujifilm from 2017, the latest FW and my own thoughts about the previous year and some hopes for the next! If we don't have speak before, and if applicable of course - have a great time tonight Cheers http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-nine/
  2. Quite possibly a week early... but predictably enough I'm sharing my 12 favourite X-Pro street shots from 2017 I've also written a brief description around each one Enjoy, but more importantly (if applicable) enjoy your holiday season folks. http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-eight/
  3. Is raw greyed out in the settings or Q menu? If so, are the ‘advanced filter’ modes on’? Where are you looking for raw? On the lcd of the camera or on your computer? What happens if you set the camera only to shoot raw then take a picture?
  4. You’ll need to ensure that you’re perfectly parallel to the wall you’re shooting If the sensor is misaligned then stopping down will negate the effect to a degree Remember that (say) 23mm might look like 35mm on a Leica (or other FF camera) but 23 will always be 23 and 23 is more likely to have more native field curvature than 35 (this would be even more apparent if you were comparing APSC 18 with FF 28) Any way that you can return to the store and try a different body? If there’s a problem, it’s more likely you got one duff body than two duff lenses
  5. Just installed the new FW Camera still works afterwards I only just did this, so far to early to judge... The histogram change looks promising though RGB histogram, even when a BW film sim is in use... that could be very helpful Don’t care about the video, so nothing to say As a Windows user I haven’t tried the new software yet I might have a play with the tethering thing.... but Fuji have managed to pick a busy weekend to launch all this, a weekend that’ll leave little time for camera testing!
  6. We're doing something a teeny bit different this week... My throwaway snap and a guest writer with a thousand words. It makes you think really... there's how you see your work and how others react to it. Enjoy! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-seven/

  8. Here's the third and final part of my XF16 Story: Part Three. Finally finding my feet with the 16mm http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-six/
  9. A day early, because I'm busy tomorrow! Here's the second part of the XF16 story. Trying to get to grips with 16mm http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-five/

  12. The X-Pro2 and the XF56: Monochrome Antiques Thoughts and images from taking a modern cutting edge product to a world packed with antiques http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-three/
  13. Totally. The F2 WR 23/35/50 prime lenses are indeed cheaper than the fast aperture, optically true versions, and if we care to look for it, we'll find it in the images

  15. The third and final part of my XF56 and XF50 review. OK, so one of these lenses does something with DOF that the other can't, but what's the rest of the story? http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-two/
  16. The second part of my XF56 and XF50 review They may be different focal lengths, but there's some yardsticks we can use to judge each http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety-one/

  18. The first part of my XF56 and XF50 review. We start off by listing some pretty obvious differences, and talk about why, unlike the 23/35 pairings, the 50/56 couple is a bit of a non-comparison http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-ninety/
  19. it's all hosted on wordpress so it should be pretty stable (hahahahahaha) The trouble with wordpress is that when people have problems, there's nothing that I can do - WP don't give out the keys to the backdoor if you host with them.
  20. I don't know what to say really, it seems to work for everyone else
  21. Part Two of the X-Pro1 and 2 side by side article What works for me on each camera, and where the X-Pro1 is faster than the 2! http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-nine/
  22. Seems to be working now, you still having a problem?
  23. Easy Like Sunday Morning by Adam Bonn, on Flickr I’m happy with this one Manual focus at 1.4, shot from the hip and zero crop or orientation change in post! A bit of a fluke perhaps but it was what I was aiming for!
  24. Circumstances have given me a lot more X-Pro1 than X-Pro2 time lately. But away from the spec sheets and out in the real world, just what are the key differences? http://adambonn.com/my-love-affair-with-the-fujifilm-x-pro1/xp2-eighty-eight/
