Time to start saving pennies?

Not interested in video at all, no matter how many K it has. Even zero. Interested to cut purchase price and get device without useless (for me) features.

Next one is interior of church above the head, looks flat and not interesting at all, but then I made crop from left side where the organ, and picture became totally different, with help of compressed space.

Fisheye is great tool for creativeness. I like to make funny cityscapes with it. Here are old houses in Porto:

Combination of MCEX16, TC1.4 and 90mm f2
Vidalgo replied to uckdie's topic in Other Fuji X Accessories
Not bad at all. I had the same idea with MCEX and TC, it obviously enough, but unfortunately I don't have neither tube nor TC, so didn't tried it. lol. Did you have only one MCEX tube? May be 16+11+TC also is a working combo... -
Great streets. I have some pictures from Barcelona, though not taken with X-camera but at least it was Fujifilm. Walking through the Gothic Quarter: Bizarre walker at the Passeig de Gracia street:

A covert bag for traveling in cities
Vidalgo replied to ajurjans's topic in Bags, Half Cases & Straps for Fuji X
For water bottle I have simple cheap bag which attached to my waist belt at rear side. Like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactical-Outdoor-Hiking-1000D-Molle-Water-Bottle-Pouch-Bag-Carrier-Holster-Grey-/291561561442?hash=item43e26c5d62:g:SXkAAOSwQPlV8m3U There are smaller bags and bigger. This one can accept 1.5L bottle or so. Walking with attached bag is comfortable enough. But you need to remember about your bottle before you decided to seat. -
A covert bag for traveling in cities

That's me on Barcelona streets with camera, some years ago. My camera was permanently attached to my right hand by neck strap and good big grip allowed to me long walks without a noticeable discomfort. I used collapsible rubber lens hood, maybe it looks ugly but works fine. I was lucky to catch some looks of thieves, when they are made quick visual check of me as a potential client and I'm sure they was very confused of such non-typical situation and how to deal with it. -
Since the XF60 is not a lens for action shots, it has a "normal" AF speed. Not too fast, not too slow. Firmware updates for some cameras made it even faster (or "a bit faster", whatever). So, AF speed is more than arguable consideration for possible upgrade. Technically, this lens has ALG focusing system, when all lens groups are moving while focusing. It's noted in Fuji 2015 catalogue, at least. All system is driven by a "high-torque DC coreless" motor. To move the significant mass (many of lense elements), the motor must be powerful enough. Done. Sadly, it eats battery a lot. But replacing it (aside of other aspects) by more powerful motor means the battery will be depleted faster. You still want more motor power?

A covert bag for traveling in cities

I use NG bags all time, have 3 ones various sized. Except of the smallest one, they have very useful features - not easy to open, very hard to cut. -
XF 10-24 and XF 50-140 both have internal zooming and not extends. All other Fuji zooms are physically extends when zooming i.e. become longer.

Torn between 27mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/2.0 need your opinions please
Vidalgo replied to xtrans's topic in Fuji X Lenses
I think the 27mm never will get update. Smallest lens in the whole line, fast enough, good AF, great sharpness, negligible distortions, - what exactly is subject to update? -
There is one tripod from Horusbennu (sorry, don't remember it's number) which is regular traveller tripod, but all 3 legs can be unscrewed and replaced by short legs (included in kit), so it became to be small table-top sized.

Joby ballhead is pure crap.

A month ago I got Sirui A-1005 aluminium tripod with Sirui Y-10 ballhead. That A-model is new, but basically it's a bit upscaled T-model. Y-10 is simplified K-10, same but without dedicated tension control knob. I got it for home use, but this tripod also good for travel: 1.5kg total, 36cm folded. Mounting plate goes to 118cm without extending by central column, and steadiness is good enough for my X-T1 with a lense of medium size. Small shake is dampened at 1-2sec or so. At full height EVF of camera goes to 158cm, a bit less steady position but usable. I keep Gorillapod as a table tripod and sometimes use it outdoor when I want to be lightweight as much as possible. With a simple ballhead like Sirui Y10, it have weight below 500gr (legs they are 240gr only), hard to beat, other useful feature is it can be allowed for cabin bag because the legs are not made from metal.

Have not popups. Win.8.1, Opera.

Have not a record of all processing steps, but of course I can remember some major (less or more) actions. RAF developed in PhotoNinja , then saved TIFF finalized with PhotoShop. In PhotoNinja: WB corrected a bit, then preset 'Scenic Enhanced', then pseudo-HDR-ing a bit with exposure controls, then colors, mainly more saturation in orange and lightness in green/blue/cyan In PhotoShop 'Selective Colors' tab was mainly used, black was lowered in midtones and whites, also colors was altered. Sure vibrance was touched, I like add it almost anytime. Resize, etc.

Great. On 'Working in the kitchen', figure in the center (with towel) seems to be too small.
