    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to stream using my Fuji x-T2 and it works just fine until I turn my background LED coloured lights on. I get terrible banding.
I've tried turning the flicker reduction on, am using all the recommended settings when using the webcam, but nothing works
Do I just have to give up on the nice lighting?

    There is DarkTable : http://darktable.org
    and Fujifilm Raw Converter: https://fujifilm-x.com/en-us/products/software/raw-file-converter-ex-powered-by-silkypix/
Both of these are free and very worthwhile.
It seems strange to process jpegs other than to resize them. It certainly can be done with decent results if you saved the original in-camera at 100% quality and only edit them once; never edit - save as jpeg, reopen, edit -save as jpeg, and so on because the lossy format will degrade the image so much the image gets ugly. Perhaps it is better to tune your in-camera settings to give you the desired outcome. The raw converters will let you experiment with various choices and not damage the original.
Since Fujifilm released X Raw Studio, capturing raw + jpg is not as needed since one can now just connect the camera to the computer and use X Raw Studio if there is a need for the camera made jpg version, which in turn, saves space on the camera card while shooting.

Hello everyone! Here's our Youtube series about dogs, food, and family, shot partially on Fuji!  It's cooking guides, but meant more to be consumed as *art.*  There's stop-motion animation of hand painted stuff and other wacky shit we decided to full send it on.
Oh -- This episode was filmed primarily on my GFX-100!  I fell in love the moment I discovered this camera.  I shoot photo and video, and when I saw Fuji released a box that could do weird over the top things, I had to have it!  So we said "let's try shooting an episode with it at 400mb/s in 17:9 DCI," and we did!  Some of the scenes are with our alpha 9, and you can see how that camera zings in the low light, but as many reviewers have said, get the GFX in a "studio" and it just paints the colors so authentically.  Feel free to add questions or advice -- we love both.
Next episode coming (kind of) soon.  Please consider subscribing<3

PS  is there a way to raise the 1gb file limit?  Would love to upload some photos.

    Hi Ken,
Have you considered trying Davinci Resolve?  I have used it with 4K H.265 4:2:0 generated with an X-T3.  Color grading tools are excellent.  Works well on a Mac.  But I know there is Windows version.  You can download the very powerful freeware version 17 that has no time limits to see if it works for you.

It sounds like you have tried to set the shutter speed lower than 1/60, which is a problem for X-T3s in movie mode.
I do not use the Ninja V, so I cannot answer your second question.

So, as @izzymonkey stated above, the firmware 2.00 update removed the X Webcam Connection Mode and replaced it with the USB tether shooting modes. This allows the camera to be detected by the X Webcam 2 software (using version 2.1). However! The output resolution is still limited to 1024x768 and the framerate looks to be limited to 10 or 15 FPS with a lot of hitching and exposure/focus stepping. So this is not a real solution, yet.
I'd say this is a step in the right direction. Hopefully in the future Fujifilm will allow the X-S10 to output full resolution with X Webcam.
On a personal note, I ended up getting a cheap USB HDMI capture device which works well, but the colors are visibly worse than with the native output. Maybe one day...

OK. well you right. At the end of the day its just a small brother of X-T3, yet, one thing is limiting capability in order to grade the product other is selling a camera for £850 body which cant be used as camera... imagine handing it over to family member or let say my 7y old in Auto mode... useless, every other picture focused randomly on something you didn't want... YES I did try it with my 7y old.   I feel bit strange that nobody is literally upset with that... you know point and shoot, POINT.... wait, don't bother pointing  just shoot- you have no say about point... I swear to God my daughters pinkie Z30 is more respectful in this category. OK. I do consider this topic closed, enough of me winging like an old man... Thanks for some insights and remarks.

Also it's required for using it as a webcam and that's necessary in today's world and lifestyle. everyone gives that feature to their camera's and x-s10 got it after the user feedback (x-t30 users were among that feedback, but was doing it among the x-s10 thread etc..). so let us all who have a x-t30 as a secondary body or primary body etc... sent feedback (through fujifilm x-t30 thread only, please, always mention the body while sending feedback)  , so that the feature is available soon to fujifilm x-t30... also fujifilm x-t30 was very good size and very much suitable to use a webcam too.. so it's unfortunate that it wasn't supported in the first place. well let's send feedback, since fujifilm listen to feedback always, let's hope to see the feature soon, if more users send feedback !. wish you a lucky day ahead !.

Yes! I totally agree, we need tethered shooting for the X-T30.  Its my first body and if I knew anything about tethered shooting when I first started and knew that the XT-T30 didn't have it , I would've bought the X-T3...   Tethered shooting should be enabled for any camera, Pro or non Pro.

It might not hurt to update the firmware(s) the current body version is 1.40 and the lens is up to version 3.23. There were some bugs that got squished by the updates.

Hoping for fujifilm to release tethered shooting for xt-30 soon, for allowing it to use it as a webcam, since webcam mode isn't working. xs-10 was having the same issue which has been fixed by fujifilm 2 days ago through a firmware update, which brought the tethered shooting ability to xs-10 and thus enabling it be used properly as a webcam. since webcam functionality is much needed in today's work lifestyle , really hope that fujifilm address this issue of xt-30, same way they addressed xs-10 , by adding functionality !. so everyone who has xt-30, let's sent feedback to fujifilm, directly or by commenting in the webcam thread in the "xt-30" pages, like we were commenting in xs-10 pages. since fujifilm care about feedback, thus hoping that they will address this quickly. have a nice day !.

New firmware v.2.0 dropped from Fujifilm yesterday for the X-S10. "USB Tether Shooting Auto" is now a Connection Mode option, and "In case of using the FUJIFILM X Webcam the option in the menu changes from “X WEBCAM” to “USB TETHER SHOOTING AUTO”. Also, the setting screen displayed on a PC can be used."
    I hope this helps everyone!

Without any sample images, along with the camera settings used for the images, it is difficult to give a good answer to this.
Have you tried using a tripod?
When the light level is low, are you raising the ISO to compensate?
What shutter speeds are you using?
Do you mean the images are soft on a computer scree or in the camera's lcd and viewfinder?

No. (Not yet) I hope Fuji will come with a firmware upgrade to bring the X-T4 more in line with the newer X-E4 of which you can store image size and quality, several autofocus settings and more.
