  1. just to add to this thread, i used dxo pure raw a few times and the the raw conversion is pretty good and i later edit it in lightroom. but easiest workflow is still using capture one. i just liked using lightroom, that why i tested dxo and also the added benefit of having very little noise after conversion.
  2. if you updated the firmware using app, then you need to try updating it again with card. because there is issues when updating via camera remote app.. hoping that you got this issues after updating via app. have a good day ahead.
  3. i was glad to hear fujifilm launching x app. even though i rarely had issues with camera remote, since i always connected via Wi-Fi, rather than bluetooth. but x app giving more controls on camera was interesting to hear, especially helpful while shooting videos and portraits etc.. but when it's launched i found out that it's not supported on android 10 or below... which is unfortunate since i don't change my phone often, i use it minimum 5 years before changing, and my current phone is not at all outdated so i won't be changing it for another 2 years. i don't know if there is others who have phones which don't support new x app or not. but is there any scope for fujifilm's new xapp to support more phones ?. it would be great if fujifilm make the future versions of x app supported for more phone models. have a great day a everyone.
  4. update : the charging and file transfer issue is fixed. i was searching for ways to downgrade the firmware after posting this, because i read some articles that it fixes etc.. but didn't found any ways to do that.. but i found that we can actually update the firmware again with the same version of the firmware file. so i downloaded the firmware again and this time i didn't use the fuji camera remote app, i used card as always and updated it again and the issues were fixed, i haven't tested the battery life, but i am hopeful that it's fixed too since other issues are fixed by doing this. so anyone who got issues after version 2 firmware update, please update again using card and see if that fix the issues. if not then add your issues under this thread. also never use fujifilm camera remote app to update firmware, it's the first time i used app to update and i got enough issues by doing it. have a great day everyone.
  5. any charger or powerbank which supports power delivery will work with fujifilm cameras.
  6. also i noticed now that i am not the only fujfilm xt-30 user who's experiencing issues after version 2 firmware update. so anyone who have issues after this version 2 update please list your issues under this thread, so we can know all the issues found so far in a single thread and that will be helpful to fix the issues in the next update. or to share the fixes we find for each issues. thanks
  7. i updated my fujifilm xt 30 two days ago and here is a few huge issues i encountered. not charging when using a usb c pd charger, which worked until this update not charging when using usb cable connected to computer not able to connect to computer via usb, it's not detected in computer or camera after this update battery life has basically halved after this update all these issues need to be fixed asap. and i updated this firmware using the phone app, so that's a difference this time. and if anyone else have any solution, please let me know so that i can try those too.. since right now camera is basically useless for me, until this is fixed.
  8. I wish they release a firmware fixing these indeed !. because the other methods seems a bit complex... let's hope.. because fujifilm used to listen to users since the start...
  9. my friend !, the webcam support is only in name.. it doesn't work. that's why i was taking about it !. it shows everything in the camera menu.. but it doesn't work on computer.. at least on windows... since i have tried every way, myself on windows 10 and windows 11... no apps detect camera(in webcam mode).. even the fujifilm webcam app doesn't detect camera... the fujifilm remote app, works perfect,.,. for live view and image transfer etc... i have taken a star trails recently using that as remote shutter. but the webcam mode.. no luck so far.. and no solution in internet tooo.. i tried many seen in internet.. but never worked... maybe in the next firmware.. fujifilm will give a "working" webcam mode for windows computers.. anyway thanks for saying... wish you a nice day !
  10. it's better to use power bank with power delivery... and you can actually use any power bank with power delivery feature. it's safer and faster to charge/power the fujifilm camera.... and i have used power bank without pd with my camera too... after checking the voltage compatibility etc... but the power bank's with power delivery are noticeably faster... and they are available in the similar price as power bank's without power delivery... so since the price is similar... it's always better to use power bank's with power delivery !.. i hope this helps.. have a nice day !.
  11. I use a circular polarizer... and it does give good results.. i think most cpl filters available in the market would give good results.... so go for any cpl filter with good reviews. have a nice day !.
  12. it is indeed a big cripple.... even xa-7 can be used as a webcam.. while more costly xt-30 can't be used.... i wish more people sent feedback.. so the fujifilm implement tethering support.. through the next firmware update... have a nice day !.
  13. yes !, exactly... it makes it easier for us to experiment with different types of photography and videography..
