  1. @jerryy Yeah, Ken did a whole book on FujiFilm X-T cameras. Mostly for the X-T4 I believe. Very thorough... https://ia800903.us.archive.org/2/items/FUJIFILMTRICKS1/FUJIFILMTRICKS2.1.pdf
  2. I'm glad things are getting better, but if necessary, Tripods are great.
  3. Look under the cleaning part. https://ia800903.us.archive.org/2/items/FUJIFILMTRICKS1/FUJIFILMTRICKS2.1.pdf
  4. Not Exactly new, but Don't think I introduced my self. Must have missed this thread. I'm Aaron. I love doing both 4K video, and Photography. I did have a X-T4, but returned it. There were some money issues. And some other things. But will replace it shortly. I strongly believe that who we are as creators, shows the world who we are. Here is who I am: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe68xB9s6JACuGE3gEWcbIg
  5. Can you upload a sample video on YouTube, and post the link here? What lens and other settings are you using?
  6. There is a new way of thinking. Why limit your self? It used to be that you would need two cameras. One for film/video, and one for photography. But things have changed. The internet, many other things have come around. So why should we have to buy two when one will suffice? Why allow creative limits?
  7. Here you go. Ken's Book: https://ia600903.us.archive.org/2/items/FUJIFILMTRICKS1/3RDSMALL.pdf
  8. I know what you mean. Use wide angel lenses. Use a predetermined focus length. And wait, or move forward/backwards. Issue solved.
  9. Then advice I can ever give in using any camera is learning how to manual focus. Facial Auto Focus is at best a gimmick. Useful, yes, but a gimmick.
  10. Exactly the point though. You should follow their recommendations.
  11. Read my post that shares Ken Wheelers XT-4 book. He goes through the ins and outs.
  12. Are you guys using the recommended DS cards? Check the website.
  13. Hmmm... Can you try and use manual focus, and ISO? What other settings are you using? Manual focus, and ISO could make it better. Other than that, I'd try and see if warranty will take care of it. Good luck. Are you using compatible SD cards? That too could be the issue.
  14. Check here for compatible cards. You can ONLY use these cards with the XT-4: https://fujifilm-x.com/en-us/support/compatibility/cameras/x-t4/
  15. Can you try custom mode and Auto-Focus? I'm not saying there is not a problem, but just to be sure. Maybe try Auto exposure as well? And can you post the result photo here please? Aaron
  16. One of the deciding factors, I've heard is the speed of your SD card. Is it 300 Mb/s? What card(s) are you using? As for preset up for "catching the bird", Hard to say. What speed of shutter to you use? More details could help narrow it down. Most likely, it would/should be the same as any Nikon DLSR. I'll trust you know what you are doing, but more details would help. Others have suggested the faster the SD card, the better, because of more frames of a moving subject. I wish I could be of more help. Have you tried YouTube?
  17. Is it safe, or will you damage the IBIS? I like to record video when I ride in a vehicle. I'd like to know if it would cause any harm or not...
  18. I'm glad that you got it settled. The XT4 is spendy... And glad that there are no issues with the SD card.
  19. I posted a link Ken Wheeler's book. it might help out. Give it a look. What SD card are you using?
  20. I asked his permission to share in a live stream last night. He gave it.
