  1. Are you sure? It looks like X-E3 will have smaller EVF because X-E2 is x0.64 but X-E3 is going to have x0.62. What a present from Fuji! Instead of EVF improvement Fuji brought smaller EVF! It's probably EVF with the lowest magnification in APS-C mirrorless.
  2. sorry, I can't comment this "smartphony" mentality.
  3. Yes, but it's big... and big reason for not buying it. + Fuji big issue is buttons placement, one of the worst I have experienced. I.e, AF-L button using for back focusing is uselles, also in X-Pro2.
  4. What are you talking about? Lack of d-pad means lack of 4 fn buttons! You may never use but for me it enough reason to reject such camera because it will lenght camera operation when I need to set features in the fly in street shooting and reportage. I remember time when Fuji users asked Fuji for "1 more fn button", but now it takes off four of them! Touched lcd does not replece it at all.
  5. If these X-E3 specs are right I am selling Fuji - small X-E line with corner EVF was the only Fuji I liked though I did not liked 200iso base and 2/3 EV cheating. I expected X-E3 will bring better/improved camera control and more direct access to features for my style of shooting, but it looks like Fuji made big step back. With these specs X-E line just died for me, it's rather like X-M on steroids. With regret, but I will have to say goodbye Fuji.
  6. Any news about higher magnifiacation in X-E3 EVF? If it gets same old small one, it means no buy for me.
  7. Thank you for great review and comparison, I must say I prefer much more files and rendering from X-pro1. But the files I like best produce GFX, and A-X serie.
  8. It's the only Fuji tele zoom that impress me with its rendering.
  9. Same with me. I came to Fuji from Canon (5D) and loved X-Pro1/X-E1 files but even more the X-100 ones for natural and analog looking colours. X-E2 and even more X-T2 lost it, they look just ok but more artifical and digital, but all magic has gone. I noticed it with lenses too - first Fuji primes 35/1.4, 18/2 60/2.4 have that beautiful soul I just love but current primes went to sterile side. Now I am struggling if stay with Fuji... If Nikon will bring mirrorless I will probably switch though Fuji will bring X-e3 with bayer cfa or ealier X-A4 with EVF.
  10. Both 23mm do not have that "sould" 35/1.4, 60/2.4 and 18/2 have (+ 90/2). I found all new f2 WR primes bring ordinary rendering (excluding sharpness) to boring regarding character and "soul". I am selling my 35/2 and buying again 35/1.4. I am also affraid future 35/1.4 mk2 will lose "soul" of the mk1.
  11. Same with me. 60/2.4 rendering, clarity, bokeh, colour is the best Fuji has achived. 50/2 rendering is ordinary and close boring to me.
  12. Improved EVF is most improtant for me. I hope X-E3 offers at least .70x of magnification like A6500.
  13. Done. I am dissapointed you have not listed the eyecup need - it's really a pain shooting with X-E2 in strong back/side lighting. I found the Fuji eyepiece with no eyrcup attachement one of the worst part of its cams.
  14. I would love to see same landscape shots with both cameras (with greens and reds), with the same settings, including NR on -2 and sharpening on -2, Neg Std or Astia film simulation. Or RAWs. And 18/2 or 35/1.4 or 60/2.4 used. Do not know if you can do it.
  15. All X-T20 features including tilt lcd & front dial but: 1. Joystick instead of touch LCD 2. A bit larger corner EVF (higher magnification) with redesigned eyepiece to attach eyecup.
  16. 16/1.8 23/1.8 50/1.8 BTW, 23/2 is actually 21mm what dissapointed me.
  17. I would even like now X-E3 to have Bayer filter, like GFX, to reduce its price but have some features of X-T2, like AF, joystick, tilt LCD (not articulating), front dial, little bigger EVF wIth attachable eyecup and WR. No need for 2 slots and 4K to have both still enough different.
  18. I am suppriced nobody has mentioned eyepiece issue in X-E2 that does not allow to attach any eycup. It's really a pain shooting street in strong sunlight with X-E2. So I would add to X-E3 concept: 1. Attachable eycup A must! 2. Metering switch under speed dial (like in X-T1/2) I would really like to have direct fast access to metering modes. 3. Tilt LCD A must! 4. WR A must for me! 5. Bigger AF-L button with new placement A must! Current AF-L placement sucks. If you often use AF-L for AF focusing, i.e reportage or wedding, it should be placed niear thumb and can't be that smal. 6. 1/8000s Electronic shutter does not do everything. 7. Bigger EVF A must! A bit bigger (higher magnification), but not that big as XT1/2
  19. > dkojevnikov Did you take this shots on a tripod? I can't believe such a big difference in fl between 23/1.4 & 23/2 - it looks like 23/2 is rather a 20mm lens. EDIT: Looking at many shots at close distances with f2-2.8 I decided to pass with it. Too much softness for me (never seen in other primes, even in 18/2). Maybe it has something with production issues of this lens and Fuji will fix it. Hope.
  20. I have never been tempted by 23/1.4 because of it size, so 23/2 will be my next prime. Hope Fuji will also bring 16/2 - 16/1.4 was huge on my X-E2.
  21. There are only three Fuji lenses that touched my heart with their rendering and "magical" character - 18/2, 35/1.4 and 60/2.4. I agree about 23/1.4 it has clinical rendering, that's why I did not buy it. Unfortunately I am not touched by other Fuji lenses. Next two I found interesting regarding the image rendering is 55-200mm f/4.8 and 27/2.8.
  22. Has X-A3 AA filter or not? I can't find any info about it.
  23. Thanks for e-mail to Fujifilm Japan, I have sent one too.
  24. Ok, here is my list for X-E3 (most for better control): 1. Front dial (even X-T10 has it) 2. Joystick 3. Metering switch under shutter's speed dial (like in X-T1) 4. Larger EVF (but not that big as X-T1) 5. Attachable eye cap (all Fuji cams should have it) 6. Back AF-L button - better placement & bigger 7. Filp LCD 8. WR 9. Bigger grip 10. Moved forward a little shutter release button (like in X-T1)
  25. I would like to have also: 16bit TIFF file saving in Camera RAW converter... so not only to JPG NR setting for each IS0 0,5 steps for Shadow & Highligh tone setting 0,5 steps for LCD & EVF brightnes setting
