  1. Agree that the processing of the image should be very fast. But what about the speed of getting that file to the computer?
  2. I really don't like the idea of my sensor shaking like it is hit by an earth quack all the time. Adds extra moving parts and that always results in a shorter lifespan of the camera.
  3. This does not apply to mirrorless cameras. Focusing is done on the sensor so you can not have front or back focus problems.
  4. But DNG is still raw data and I think LR still makes a mess of it...
  5. Not sure why you want to do this. Why not import into LR and then edit in CO when you want?
  6. There is an old thread about this from more than a year back I think. Has nothing to do with the recent update.
  7. Or the algorithm does not give up that quick any more and tries a bit harder?
  8. I use a fast 64Gb card for RAWs and a slower 32Gb card for the JPEGs. Works perfectly!
  9. Are you sure you selected the RAW/JPEG option and not the BACKUP option?
  10. It does with version 9.3 for X-T2 and X-Pro2.
  11. When I put my P2 into viewfinder only mode playback does happen on the rear lcd screen. The menu is displayed in the viewfinder.
  12. Some have serious issues. And this are the people that will post here on the forum. All the other people that have no problems with their P2 do not post about that. I'm not saying that there are no problems for some users but that is not the case for all users.
  13. Lots of people come to this forum because they have some kind of problem. Think most of the time it is user error, but some times it is a real issue. The same happens on other forums I do follow. So you tend to have a high problem to no problem ratio. I really like my P2 and have no issues with it.
  14. So you buy an expensive camera without checking if it supports a very important function? Don't miss it at all.
  15. Well you charge it before you go out and don't have to think about it for the rest of the day. You can charge it again when you are back home. So you don't need to change batteries when you are out and about so you will not mis the 'the magic moment'.
  16. And in the 30 secs the magic moment comes along and you mis it... Agree that it is not a real issue but it would be nice if the batteries lasted longer. Nice experiment!
  17. Actually the frame rate of the XP2 is max 85fps. But why do you want this list? Two different cameras for different shooting styles. That is the reason to choose one over the other. Not the features it does or does not have.
  18. Can you give some examples of what you don't like?
  19. Really? Did you give it a real try. Capture One is maybe not the most intuitive program out there but it is a great raw converter once you get to know it. The catalog stuff is very basic but the colour adjustments and sharpening is better than Lichtroom.
  20. Setup menu -> Save data set-up -> Card slot setting -> RAW/JPEG
  21. Is it possible that this is the apperture opening again after the shutter button is released? It does this in little steps that may cause the flickering effect. Look at the front of the lens when you let go the shutter button.
  22. Maybe Kevin Mullins has some tips to speed things up a bit: http://f16.click/tips/speed-up-lightroom-with-fuji-files.html
  23. No shutter? Mirrorless is no mirror but it still has a shutter. And it has nothing to do with cost savings. My XP2 is more expensive than many DSLRs.
  24. Rumor is that a new version of the battery is coming soon. Maybe it requires an other charger?
  25. In playback mode press the 'play' button for about 3 seconds.
