  1. I bought this one and liked it but Hoage has one that is not quite as deep as this one so it is less visible through the OVF. It also allows for a filter too but I don't use one. https://www.amazon.com/Haoge-LH-X49B-Ultra-thin-Adapter-Fujifilm/dp/B01DNL2QT0/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1523479506&sr=1-5&keywords=hood+for+x100f
  2. This is correct, another option is the Metro Case for the X100F. The part of the grip on the right side protects the Q button without preventing you from using it. http://www.metro-case.com/grips/fuji-x100f
  3. For a group that just bought an incredible camera (my opinion as an XPro2 owner) with massive improvements over the camera it replaces, there seems to be a high level of discontent. Well over half of the comments on the first page are critical. I'm not trolling and I'm not a fanboy but my experience has been completely different. What gives?
  4. Had both at one point and really didn't use either much for portraits (don't do a lot of portraits). I had a chance to sell the 56 and even though it was a beautiful lens and very sharp, I haven't missed it. The 60 is terrific but a bit slow focussing but with the later firmware updates, it is alright. The 56 is no speed demon in the focussing department either. I would look at what the primary use is - if closeups the 60, if portraits the 56.
  5. Would like to post here but can't figure out how to add a photo to it

  7. It may be too late for color with a converted IR camera. I like the BW version though.
