  1. I'm afraid I find them too dark!
  2. Milandro, is it true that "dynamic range" cannot be in auto for "Program Shift" to work? Unfortunately I haven't got my head around DR yet, as to what is does!
  3. I suspect the answer will be no. USB voltages may be different from the Apple charger, and delivered via different pins!
  4. when viewing an image press the top arrow of the four way pad. PS. The focus joystick will do the same!
  5. From my back garden this morning! X-T2 + 60mm macro @ 1/420 f8 ISO 200 Click up
  6. Kelvin, you are welcome! Took me a while to work it out.
  7. One other thing to bear in mind is that the function button on the VPBG will only mimic function button 1!
  8. You have to be in a mode for the button to work. For instance when you select CL and press the function button you should be able then select 3, 4 or 5 FPS from the displayed menu. After pressing Function 2 When a function button is assigned to DRV it doesn't do anything on its own. Hope that helps?
  9. That's because the mechanical shutter release thread is a standard size from forever! One size fits all.
  10. Thanks Merlin, it was local authority display, these flower baskets are all over town and they used to also have mauve flowers as well but time has taken its toll on them also a pelagonium. It must have cost a packet, but they did look nice!
  11. A floral display of Petunias and pelargoniums.
  12. From my short tests I believe that VPBG f1 button indeed follows the camera f1 button. I'm not suggesting that that is only extra provided by the VPBG!
  13. Just did a few tests and have found that the VPBG function button follows what is set on function button 1, which after some thought is fairly logical!
  14. Press the Disp/Back button for a few moments and the function button menu appears thus allowing you to be able to select which function you would like to ascribe to which Function Button! Page 244 of the manual! PS; Sorry misread your query so I checked and you are right, this will obviously be the subject of a future Firmware update
  15. I think Deva is right, the firmware update is not yet released. Try out the Fuji phone apps(IOS and Android) which allow you to remotely operate the camera, not comprehensive but it works!
  16. Pompo, Lightroom also incorporates ACR! Lightroom recognises X-T2 RAF files. Lightroom adds a cataloging facility, which is reasonably featured and I quite like it plus the editing tools it contains, which are comprehensive and easy to use! I also am beginning to use PhotoNinja, which I can access from within Lr. Apple has yet update its systems to recognise X-T2 RAF files, in fact it has only just begun to recognise X-Pro2 RAF files, so don't hold your breath on that one! All editors have their proponents, it is of course a personal choice, I have shown you mine!
  17. Haswell the Hadley bags have been around for at least 30 years + , as always my friend a photo is better than a thousand words.
  18. Local fruit and veg stall.
  19. Put it through your washing machine!, take off all removable parts, I put my old Hadley through the washing machine a couple of times with no problems. Just one more reason never to buy from E Bay! Hope it didn't cost you a lot? By the way I presume you mean Billingham? You could try asking them for advice, what model is it ?
  20. Try shoot without lens setting!
  21. OK I give in what are "Zebras"? Please.
  22. Not sure about that one, there is something called "focus assist" but I'm not sure how it works! Download the PDF manual and see if that helps.
  23. I too have noticed this phenomenon, don't know why it happens. So for now the answer is to take the lens cap off first! Why have you got the lens cap on in the first place if speed is of the essence? I just checked and the transition is a lot less than a second!
  24. Pathpix, by a mile the best way to get your file on to a Mac is as Gordon says via a card reader or depending of the age of your Mac then use its SD card slot! I download mine in that way to my hard disk to a folder called surprisingly "Photographs". After all that(which is easier than it sounds) you can then load them into your chosen editor, I personally have three editors Aperture, Lightroom and lately PhotoNinja. I have no experience of Fuji's software, but have heard that it isn't much good, in my experience bundled software is usually not very good. Apple has not yet caught up with the X-T2 yet! And of course there is also Apples built in "Image Capture" app Sorry that's a bit long winded!
  25. I have just found out by going through the setup settings it's down to the MS or ES setting. Anything except MS will change ISO L to ISO 200. Of course there is no mention of this in the manual, irritating. Jerry thanks for your reply. PS: page 151 in the manual
