  1. Sorry, Claude, I do not like this and it has nothing to do with your photography - I wonder, how many of the guests still had an appetite after seeing this.

  8. We had two weeks of great autumn weather recently but I spent them on the roof of my house sanding and varnishing the wooden beams, poor me. I have hardly any pictures this year.

  16. I have a window too, but mine is cropped too tight out of concept. I didn't like the rest of the wall. Your photo is better. full res: http://elipsa.sk/FxF/DSCF0977spac.jpg
  17. I like #3 (and the nice smile your lovely wife gave you)
  18. Update: After third day 496 total still on the same battery, still not dead.
  19. I seldom shoot more than a few pictures at a time, but for comparison: currently at a jazz festival after the second day, 455 shots still at the first battery with about 1/3 left in it. X-T10, 90mm (i.e. no OIS), EVF+Eye mode, CH, no chimping, jpg+raw. Batteries: I have three, they are numbered and I rotate them, two are aftermarket and they are as good as the original. Poor bass, had a cold, had to wear a hat. full resolution: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4456/37823072002_5d4001a462_o_d.jpg
  20. Enzio, never mind what lens you use, but tell me, what kind of voodoo magic spell you use to keep those beasties still to nail the focus so beautifully. No wind in Bavaria ? OK, I suppose that is some sort of an indoors venue but still... awesome.
  21. Great ! Thanks for sharing.
  22. Yes, "crimp" is the correct term. If the string can't slip off the tag and it seems it can't because the edge of the hole in the bottom of the hand grip would prevent that, you're fine. Cheers.
  23. Kate, that is not a solder tag, it is meant to be pressed onto a wire by a special clamping tool. You could press it onto a loop made of a wire to get an eyelet for tying the hand strap. I can make you one if you like, or I can look for the solder tag with two holes, pm me and I will send it to you. Or I can flatten it and drill that hole into it. Or I can make you something on my cnc that will be worthy of sitting on a Fuji :-)
  24. The first one is especially nice
