Lightroom 5.7 and Fuji X-T2 RAW files

Yesterday, I just purchased a new Fuji X-T2 and I learned that Lightroom 5.7 will not be able to process RAW files from the X-T2. 

What are my options ??  I plan on getting the Adobe CC subscription of Lr and Ps later on but as in interim measure what should I do??

You could start a Capture One trial in the mean time, that's 30 days.

 

There is also the Iridient X-Transformer which should make your files compatible with any LR.

But you'll have to buy it to remove watermarks.

You can upgrade/buy the standalone version of LR6.  You don't have to subscribe.  Presumably if you do want to subscribe at a later date you can swop over to the subscribe option.

 

LR6 standalone gets all the major updates e.g. aditioanl cameras, new versions of Adobe Camera Raw etc just as the subscribed version does.

You could download Adobe's free DNG converter: convert your Fuji RAW files to DNG and then import them into Lightroom.

I used to use Siklypix when I had  a Minolta Dynax 7D. It gave nice colour but handled noise badly and the interface was a nightmare. Of course it may be much better now for all I know.
