Faster loading of thumbnails in Lightroom CC 2015.6?

Adobe released their latest version of LR and ACR today. I noticed this in the "what's new":

 

Importing Fuji files should display the thumbnails significantly faster.

 

 

Need to try it and see. This has been a very slow process for me at least. Hope it's faster now.

The windowed image loading seems to be faster, but the 1:1 views still seem very slow to finally load compared to Canon files (for files already imported prior to the update). Strange, because I know I have Build 1:1 Previews set on import. I'll have to import some new photos and try again.

I just popped my SD card in and wow, the thumbnails are almost instant now. Before, I had to wait for like 1 second for each thumbnail to load. A welcome improvement!

Same here. Thumbnails load way faster now. A step in the right direction.

I think the fine detail looks better now...but maybe it's just me, nobody commented on it. My previous 100% detail sharpening preset looks a bit "too much" now in some cases so I tuned it down and foliage etc. was still fine. But maybe it's wishful thinking blurring my mind?

I found export to be a bit quicker.  Just did an export of almost 450 RAF images from XT1 to high resolution JPG.  It seemed to do the export a bit quicker.
