The TC design has an element that is considerably proud of the mount about 1.5cm. You physically cannot mount it to any other lens than the 50-140mm and 100-400mm currently. In the case of your 60mm if you tried to mount it it would scratch the rear element of the 60mm lens and still not fit.

Ok, I understand the problem. If I put an MCEX-16 in between as somebody did with the 90mm would that work?

I've been wondering as well. There's really only one way to find out. With out spending too much money you can rent what ever missing components you need.

 There is no option like that in this Neck of the woods!

Well this set-up works fine for me as I get a little better WD by a couple of centimeters. I use a small flash on either side of the lens about 30cm apart and the main light comes from the top of the tank. There is a focusing limit for taking head shots and is only fit for smaller children.

I am not sure that both the Raynox AND the tubes are needed to achieve this level magnification and that probably you could get a lot closer than this but I guess that you can make things as complex as you wish.

Yes you are right milandro! This is the magnification I like for the shrimps as they all are about an inch long or a little less. Sure I can get closer with different set-up´s but this works for me! The 11mm tube is only there for the EC-1,4 otherwise this would not fit.Now I got my 84mm macro and I am happy with it!

Interesting idea stacking the lens adaptors, I tried it with my Sigma 50 Art with a 13mm tube on it, on my X-T1, didn't work out well. However putting my old Zeiss 2.4/35 directly adapted on the X-T1 worked out really good as it focuses so close anyway.

My XT 2 with MCEX-16 & 60mm lens will not fire. It appears to be fitted properly - I can focus the lens - and I have a fully charged battery installed. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have any idea why I am fumbling with this?

Hi Drake, this combination is fine on my X-T2. It sounds like a problem of communication between lens/MCEX-16 and camera. Maybe a bit of dust on one of the contacts?

dfaye - embarrassingly, it was user error - didn't have the lens fully connected to body. It works fine.

      Hi, I'm researching a gimbal to get someone as a present & they use a Fuji XS-10. I did a quick search of previous threads on gimbals but all of them seem to either get no replies or spammed by a link to an Amazon list. I'd appreciate any comments from folks who've actually used specific gimbals with the XS-10. I'm aware that some, such as certain models from Zhiyun, DJI & FeiyuTech either don't say that they are fully compatible with the XS-10 but other sites say they do work ok but some functions don't. It's quite difficult to work out which functions work & which don't. Thanks.

      A portrait with a 28mm lens

      This was snapped during a lunch.  Total shooting time—a few seconds. We so often read that a proper "portrait" should be snapped with a longer than normal lens, a low ISO to get lots of detail, and have a soft light held up above the head, and slightly to the side. The key, in my opinion, is always carry a camera.  Have your camera available to capture candid, authentic photographs.  Available light, no posing.   This portrait used 2000 ISO, the lens wide open at f4, and 1/100 sec. to stop any movement.  I didn't even take time to compose—I just snapped.  I leave the "Face Detection" on unless I'm photographing a landscape or subject other than a person. The GFX100RF has the equivalent of a 28mm lens.  The large sensor renders fine detail even at fairly high ISO ratings.  And the drawing of the lens is just perfect in my opinion.  It was set to B & W, with slightly reduced sharpness and clarity (set in-camera).  Ideal for "portraits."  Now, for some subjects I will likely increase the sharpness and clarity to the normal setting.  The camera is new, and I'm still experimenting with it.
