  1. Just bought a Peak Design Everyday Messenger bag 13 to hold two X-T2's with lenses attached. I bought this bag for my upcoming India trip. I don't want to be changing lenses in a dusty environment. I know for sure I'll be taking the 16-55mm lens, but as the second lens.... I'm thinking of 8-16mm when it's released or maybe the 50-140mm.
  2. I'm kind of sort of interested in the 200mm, but I'm not sure I'll be able to swallow the price of such a lens. Especially since I'll be getting the 8-16mm for sure.
  3. I have four SanDisk 64GB UHS-II memory cards (300MB/s) that so far has worked great. I have used them for multiple 30 minute video work with no issues (but no pro-video work).
  4. Look at the size of Canon's and Nikon's 200mm f2 lenses. They are not light. Fuji's will be similar to them. Hopefully they take a design queue from Canon/Nikon where they have a 52mm drop-in filter.
  5. Heck no I'll never sell my 90mm. Although I don't use it as much when I do it reminds me why I hold on to it.
  6. Just came back from my 2 week trip in Andalusia, Spain. I only took my 16mm f1.4 and 18-55mm f2.8-4. It was light, portable, and didn't have to change lenses too often. Never really saw the need to have any longer focal length.
  7. I'll learn to use all the features of my X-T2 when the X-T5 is out.
  8. I did see some sample from a user here some time ago. He used a 1.4 extender with the extension tubes to obtain a 1:1. Unfortunately the images are no longer showing.
  9. Prepare yourself because it will be bigger then the 10-24mm f4. But who know by how much.
  10. "Their X Mount versions (focal lengths of 18-55mm and 50-135mm) are being developed for launch by the end of this year."
  11. The new lens roadmap fuji updated with a ultra-wide zoom lens (8-16mm f2.8) and a telephoto prime lens (200mm f2-2.8?) blows this theory out of the water.
  12. I bought into Fuji because they offer both small lenses that I use for my travels and fast, and if need be, large lenses for my professional work. If Fuji where to stick to small, and slower lenses then I have no desire to stick with them anymore. If Fuji saw no more need to make large lenses then they would not carry on making the 8-16 f2.8 when they have the 10-24mm f4 IOS lens available. I'm sure we will still see the 30'ish f1.X lens in the future and for those that want it, like me, we'll pay for it.
  13. Have you tried Iridient X-Transformer for Windows? It's like night and day. You really don't need to do anymore sharpening and you can use LR for everything else.
  14. Well the next lenses in sight for me will be the 56mm to complete my prime set up. But I'm looking forward to Fuji's ultra-wide 8-16mm lens. That will complete my zoom trinity. But I would like an updated 30'ish lens with WR as well. I was really looking forward to Fuji's 120mm macro till they abruptly cancelled it. I'm not really sure about the upcoming 80mm macro lens.
  15. Cactus RF60X. I bought a couple of them to go with my V6 II wireless trigger. These are manual lenses, no TTL, but it does offer HSS. Controlling them is supper easy.
  16. Funny, mine is loose, very easy to rotate it. Want to trade?
  17. Yes, Fuji has normally two sales per year. And welcome to the forum Alan.
  18. Well it finally arrived! And the batteries don't fit . Only one was able to fit, pocket must be just a bit wider then the other 3. I think I'll still keep it because I'm planning on getting an X70, and those batteries should fit fine.
  19. Man, you might be able to find accessories for Canon or Nikon, but for Fuji? Oh boy, you're asking for a tall order!
  20. The apprentice becomes the master. (Boy that happen A LOT sooner then anticipated, eh?)
