Firmware Fix for Q button on X-T30

Is there a firmware (or other) fix for the problem of the Q button on the X-T30 getting accidentally activated so often? I just got an X-T30, and this is my only complaint with it.

Fujifilm did address this with a firmware update, make sure you have the latest updates installed. You can reassign the button to do something else, such as AF or nothing or ...

Thank you. I'll check for the firmware update, but I think I'll pass on the bumper.

I've found setting it to AF-ON to be the perfect solution - the button is  just the right location when you want to activate AF manually and I've never come across a situation where activating it accidentally caused a problem.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. What I've done is gotten the Firmware 1.02 upgrade, then turned off the Q button and transferred the Q menu to the Fn button next to the shutter release. Works like a charm.

By the way, this little X-T30 with the 18-55 kit zoom is an amazing camera!

I also have issues with accidentally hitting the Q button. The firmware did not solve the issue since no matter what you make the Q button do you are still going to hit it accidentally.

The only fix for me would have to be along the lines of a double click being needed to activate the Q menu.

Bottom line its very poor ergonomic design by Fuji- who should know better

When I first got my XT30 I had the Q button problem, but I refused to have a useless button on my camera and have just learnt to avoid hitting it all the time. I've updated to 1.02 and I think they have added a slight delay, in that the button must be held down for a few micro seconds before it activates the Q menu. In any case I no longer have the problem.
