  1. I shot with tripod and never turned it off, no issues for me.
  2. The app for the release works fine, the only issue i have with it, is that you have to hold your finger on the button constantly, instead of pressing once to start and once to end. So that is my only issue with it. The app itself isn't perfect, but the shutter release has always been 100% for me.
  3. You can set up so you have access to them all and you select as required or you could use custom quick menu to toggle them also. Not aware you can save individual ones.
  4. The 16 -80 is a good all round lens to be fair, especially in good light conditions
  5. Yeah, I just re-mapped mine and it is fine.
  6. Dude, As Olaf said, use Jpeg and Raw. Also in camera you can use bracket up to 3 simulations together or you can edit as many as you want. Real Scene, is basically Raw! Simples
  7. Clearly, you are very special. Sony's have the quality build and the software works extremely well and used by many many Pro's with no issues. Telling someone not to buy is silly and I can say that backed up by thousands of Youtube Videos and expert reviews also easily found on the internet. I really hope Fujifilm sort their AF and app out so it works as good as Sony's
  8. Best bet is to see youtube, a lot of photo bloggers provide raw samples. If you really need a good autofocus................. buy Sony! The Fuji AF is not the best out there............... Sony is by far the best to be fair.
  9. I have mine on and literally walk around all day taking photos, only time there is a slight issue is when i'm doing a shoot and burst mode ends up buffering but even then it's in the extreme and barley gets warm. Maybe take it to local Fuji place as it sounds that there could be something wrong.
  10. Is it snowing outside?
  11. Thanks Guys. I do mostly street portraits and started doing outdoor urban style shoots and in Spring will do more scenic shoots also. I live in London so it does tend to rain a lot and it's handy to have a WR lens as sometimes it can shower or rain randomly etc I want to do more night work hence the 1.2 apertures and also get more light in on over cast days
  12. Thanks Dave, Gives me plenty to ponder over. I actually just did a photo shoot with the 16-80mm and the images came out really nice lol
  13. As the title says, I have the X-T4 Should I trade in the 16mm-80mm kit lens which is only f4 and get the 56mm 1.2? Or should I just buy a 35mm 1.4 ? I've been doing a lot of portrait work of late and been using my 23mm f2 but I know I need another lens, what is the better option? The 35mm 1.4 i know is older and not weather sealed compared to the f2 version but I do want a 1.2 or 1.4 lens.
  14. Before the update it was always slow and not worth viewing files on. Used new app for remote trigger only now
  15. I had this issue too this week when on S mode Also eye focusing turns it self off all the time as well

  17. The film simulations (Main ones you get in camera) are in Lightroom.
  18. I shoot Raw and edit in Lightroom Classic, I transfer to DNG via IDX first and it's great, so you wouldn't have had any issues at all on this front.

    XT4 Firmware

If they updated their prime lenses to modern versions, maybe the AF would be better by default
  20. I took my camera out today and i found that the lens hood will lock in, you just have to turn it more than you maybe would on say a Canon but it deffo locked in and held ok
  21. I bought a cheap one for hardly anything off Amazon, not a big deal really, a charger is a charger doesn't have to be Fuji branded I got this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08C5J9PGL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
