I've got great shots from my first digital camera with a 3MP sensor. Who needs more?

Thanks for your reply BN. I really want this camera to work out for me. It's quiet, small, shoots raw and I love having a OVF. I guess I'm just frustrated it's not second nature yet like my Nikons were to me.
Your comment that it was slow at first now it's ultra rapid is enough for me not to give up on it.

    Thanks again for replying!

    Begi, Sir,

I see the point you have made by your post. I am on a business trip but after I come back I will rise to your challenge. I am not a photographer and I don't get to any exotic locations nowadays, so my pics won't be on par with the incredibly beatiful pictures that the others post here, but I will throw in my 2 cents of what mine will be worth. You are right, technology should be secondary.

    Cheers

Our never-ending product shoot - 71 down, 280 to go. This time an antique 19th century comb carved from water buffalo horn from the island of Sumba in Indonesia. Shot first on a piece of wet ironwood for a bit of drama, and then in our usual teak bowl for a bit of contrast. Enjoy...

My X70 came with no software and the Silkypix2 software will not recognize the files.
Silkypix offers nothing free for the X70 files.

    EDIT.
I've just found there's a small update to Silkypix2. I will try it now.
