Yes. They appear sporadically then quickly drop off the front page.

I think there's enormous room for development of a decent gallery here.

I see the point you have made by your post. I am on a business trip but after I come back I will rise to your challenge. I am not a photographer and I don't get to any exotic locations nowadays, so my pics won't be on par with the incredibly beatiful pictures that the others post here, but I will throw in my 2 cents of what mine will be worth. You are right, technology should be secondary.

First thing I have to do is change my avatar. This one was taken on a cycling trip by my brother with a phone. The only pic of myself I could find when I registered spontaneously on this blog. A fine example of blown highlights, isn't it.

I am back but I have too much work to do. I will post every now and then. This one is of the "Kriváň" mountain, 2495 m. taken this August over the High Tatras, from "Lomnický štít", 2364 m. above sea level.
