I have these fancy lenshoods for both the 16 1.4 and the 23 1.4 with Hoya protection filters on both(each is a slightly different model) on the 16, the fancy hood fits like a dream smooth as butter! Whilst the 23, the fit is quite tight. It would seem that all filters are not equal with regard to outside diameter!

Do you mean something different than the AFL button! If you don't then please explain what you mean by "back button focusing"

XT2 Focus tracking, the good and the bad.

What photos? -
Milandro of course you are right, silly me

As a Londoner I would go for the 18-55mm for its weather resistance or even the 18-135 for the extra reach and versatility!
-
Sorry I have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about!

I originally posted the screenshot from a Fuji brochure as a throw away observation, as to me it seemed ironic the the diminutive X-T2 body would be cluttered with all that stuff, I was not meaning to knock video at all, but I stand by my comment as a personal observation. Come on people where's your sense of humour, this is meant to be a fun hobby isn't it?

Fujijoe, I checked last night and my X-T2 with either slot empty the camera will always take a photo. The camera should auto select the non-empty slot to use , which is what happened in my case!

Firmware update: X-T2 ver.1.10 adds USB tethered shooting
Mike G replied to Justin_Sisson's topic in Fuji X-T2 / Fuji X-T20
Rico, where is the X-T2 firmware update, I don't see it on the Fuji UK site? -
I don't think so as the UK site says in stock and available for delivery!
-
$300/400 is I reckon quite a good budget! My suggestion is to peruse Amazon and then find a local stockist of your chosen tripod!
-
I have checked several times and when in Aperture priority and in auto ISO and before pressing the shutter button the SS is not shown, but half press the shutter button and the SS appears. Take the ISO dial off auto the the SS is shown. That is what happens on my X-T2 and the screen/VF is showing the max ISO and not the ISO at the point of taking the shot! Am I missing something here?
-
Rmullins08, i agree with youth X-T2 does indeed perform extremely well and indeed pull out the image details, as my own humble effort shows! Also in London, Berwick Street.
-
Just had a look at page 67 and I think ISO is not in AUTO and that is why the SS is showing! Sorry my replies are bitty.
-
Nick, have just reread your second post have a look under the screen setup menus! Also have a look in the Disp. Custom Settings!
-
Nick, I don't think it has anything to do with the DR mode, it's probably a menu selection, difficult to track down. When viewing a picture does the SS show when viewing the picture details? But yes a "Setup Reset" should sort it out! You may also try to contact Fujifilm Support, in the UK they are very good at responding to queries. If you do find the reason be sure to let us all know, good luck!

Does the SS showwhen the shutter button is half pressed?
-
-
Have a look at the XF 23mm f2, it may well suit your needs!
-
Hari, why did you not answer the query first then? I was concerned that the charging current drawn by the Fuji battery would be too much for an Apple charger? Which is why I said "I suspect".
