  7. Maybe this can help: http://www.fujirumors.com/fuji-nissin-i40-hss-force-trick-enable-sync-speeds-up-to-14000-on-your-x-series-camera/ Turn the i40 to manual mode Press and hold test button for three seconds Watch the lamp next to the m for manual go on and off. You just turned on high speed sync! Turn on flash put the right dial on the speed you need HSS works up to 1/4000 To activate the HSS you need do is turn the flash to manual, press and hold the test button for 3 seconds, which is the power LED. After 3 seconds the LED next to the manual control will flash. Unfortunately you are now not in TTL mode so it will only sync with the manual flash controls, but that is good enough.

  19. I'm working on rumors about completely new lenses that are still not on the roadmap and on potential ver.2 of existing lenses. I can't share more for now because I have to triple check everything and because without the expressed permission of my sources I can't share the rumors. Anyway, will ask sources about a 10-24 ver2

    One Happy Dog

Nice one! And I guess you used the new FW 4 to track your happy dog .
  22. Did FW 4 really improve the AF speed and accuracy of your Fujinon lenses? Some say the improvement is remarkable, some say it’s minimal and some can’t see any change in AF-speed and/or accuracy in good or low light. The feedback is very different (just check out the various X-T1 FW 4 threads here). Moreover, the perceived AF-improvement varies a lot according to the lens you use. So who is right? Placebo or real improvement? There is one thing FujiRumors can do: put all your feedback into a Poll! I decided to invest a bit of my time in my holiday on the sea with my buddy (while his kid is finally (!) sleeping ) to launch a Poll for each lens. So, if you own one of these lenses, and tested FW 4 on it, you can let us know if you see an overall AF improvement. Just pick out an option of the poll. Sure, this isn’t a scientific way to test an eventual AF-improvement, but since FujiRumors is the largest Fuji X related website, we can quickly collect the opinion of hundreds (thousands?) of X-shooters, who tested the lenses in the most different situations, and see what the majority of you think about FW 4. Of course, I’ll take it for granted, that you’ve checked out the list of tips that helps you to make the best out of Firmware 4 here. and tested the AF-speed/accuracy with the right settings. happy voting on FujiRumors here: http://www.fujirumors.com/did-the-fuji-x-t1-fw-4-0-really-improve-the-autofocus-of-fujinon-lenses-the-answer-is-in-these-polls-one-for-each-lens/
  23. Fuji buys the X-TRANS sensor from sony. Sony just changes the CFA from bayer to X-trans. If Fuji continues to buy their Sensors from Sony, then they could buy the latest and greatest Sony sensor (the one Sony will put in the A7000) and Sony will put the X-Trans CFA on it, which is designed by Fuji
  24. Some sensor specs of the Sony A7000... and who knows, maybe also of the Fuji X-PRO2? Check them out here: http://www.fujirumors.com/sony-a7000-aps-c-sensor-with-bsi-and-24-or-about-30-mp-same-specs-of-fuji-x-pro2-with-polls/
  25. High performance mode gives you a snappier camera and will speed up AF. It drains the battery a bit faster... but it's worth!
