the flash was scheduled for Spring 2015, but the Metz insolvency changed everything, and the flash has been delayed, probably to somewhere in 2016 In this case it was not Fuji's fault... just bad luck http://www.fujirumors.com/rumor-fuji-x-flash-delayed-because-of-metz-insolvency-new-source/

The forum is not hacked. It's just that a few Spammers registered and spread fake threads. Here is the explanation of Forum Admin Andreas in another thread: The registration to the forum MUST be open - we want new members and we welcome everyone. Spammers use this open door and start pestering us after they got in. Of course we take measures to keep such people out but this is eternal game of Hare and Tortoise (in German it's Hase und Igel). We manage to keep 99% out but when 1% get through they use this gap until we close it. Your personal data is a completely different thing: These are not meant to be open (like the registration process) thus they are much more save. You can compare it to a bank. Yes, the door is open. But only the front door to leave in our customers. Nasty guys like spammers mix with the customers and are not always easy to identify. They get into the customer area (=forum) and start spreading their spam. The vault of a bank (= our databases) is a completely different issue: By definition not meant to open to the public and so much easier to protect.

There is also the Fuji X-mount filter lens XM-FL. It's available only in Japan for now. http://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-X-mount-filter-black-XM-FL/dp/B00T77P7KU/ Some samples and impressions here: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dslrmagazine.com%2Fdigital%2Fobjetivos-para-camaras-digitales%2Ffujifilm-xm-fl-toma-de-contacto-2.html&edit-text= -

Press Release: This is a brief update about RoboSHOOT© flash Triggers for Fuji What sync speed can you expect with the x100? We've frequently gotten this question and the answer is complex enough that it warrants this notice. We've tested on both X100s and X100T and found synch speeds work all the way to 1/4000s. So, yes, RoboSHOOT© supports all shutter speeds on these cameras. But, there are things to be aware of. Firstly, at higher flash power the flash duration can be longer than 1/1000s. So, you will frequently see brightness fall off starting at 1/1000s, especially if the aperture is stopped down (because more power is requested). Secondly, the longer the flash duration, the more sensitive it is to any delay (there is about 500 microseconds of delay from the radio). Lastly, the camera only requests so much power, so again, stopping down reaches a limit. Thus, these three physical limitations come into play to affect the exposure, and they compound when multiple limitations occur. So, practically, what does this mean? RoboSHOOT© does supports TTL on the X100 series throughout the shutter speed range: no HSS required. However, at very high speeds (about 1/1000s and above) you may want to keep the aperture wide-open, and regardless, you may see under exposure at extreme speeds. Of course, some of this can be compensated for with flash exposure compensation. So, enjoy experimenting with this fun option!

I'd go with the 18-135.

Ok fellow X-shooters. Back in May here, a source, who was right in the past, told us that Fuji is forging, in secret, a Medium Format camera. You can imagine that I'm working hard on this, but it's even harder to get any information about it. But I won't give up... I'm an Aries Well, I thought it could be nice to launch a poll with a selection of questions, and hear what you FXF members would have liked to be answered as first. Make your choice.... and I'll try to answer it as soon as possible.

And I'm very happy with it

Damn, missed your comment.... Anyway, you're hired as a rumor-hunter now. What else does he know?
