  1. Yes, I had the same issue with the previews in Capture One with HDR files. Was surprised to find they work fine in the latest version of ON1.
  2. What a wonderful set of images! I have looked at them twice, and still wish I were there. Thanks for posting!
  3. Nice work! You have a good sense of timing, and catching the moment.
  4. Some more from the Grape Stomp event:
  5. A couple of shots from a Grape Stomp event at a winery in Minnesota. I had a lot of fun shooting casual portraits and some other stuff, and fun sampling the wine too.

    In The Mist

My X100T found this mother and daughter in a misting station at the Minnesota State Fair.

    One Happy Dog

I did, and it handled it very well. This one was shot using the Wide tracking mode, "CH" drive and "C" focus mode.

Here's our Lab/mix, doing what he loves to do best. Yes, he's smiling, of course! X-T1 and 50-140.
  9. That doesn't match my experience with the 35mm/1.4. Mine is very quick to lock on, good light or not, after the 4.0 update. I have no idea what would account for our different results with the 35mm. It is interesting how experiences differ sometimes between individuals and their equipment. I saw another post somewhere about the 55-200 not wanting to lock focus in dim light after the update, whereas that poster claimed it worked very well before the update. That might be the case for that poster, but does not match how my 55-200 is behaving after the update. Mine locks focus nicely in dim light, and seems faster than before in good light.
  10. I recently bought the Think Tank Urban Disguise 35 v2. I wanted something to carry the X-T1 with 16-55 mounted and 50-140, as well as one or two primes. It works well for that, and also holds all the accessories I need normally (batteries, Nissan i40 flash, remote trigger, spare SD cards, etc.). It's typical Think Tank quality - excellent. I own other Think Tank bags, so was already familiar with their product. This one looks to be another keeper.
  11. No, I also miss that option. It would certainly make sense to make use of the screen to its maximum. Here's hoping for an updated version soon that will provide that.
  12. This looks interesting, but there is no sign of it being available. I saw somewhere that they planned initially for Q4 2014, then Q1 2015, and now their website has no news. The product doesn't appear to be for sale anywhere.

    Mandolin Player

Here's one member of a three person band, found playing traditional music at a street festival in Minnesota. Her name is Jo, and she proudly showed off her 101 year old mandolin. She noted the mandolin is "even older than me". X-T1 and 50-140 lens.
