Walking around with the telephoto conversion lens attached. I either turn the camera off between shooting or it times out. Either way, the camera needs to be turned on again and I need to go back into the settings and enable it again. Is there a way to make this setting persist until changed again?

The same here, the update for X App on Oppo find X5 Pro didn't solve the issue.  

Just updated on my Oppo Find X5 Pro and still the same problem. It's definitely a firmware issue on Fujifilm's part because it stopped working after updating to the latest firmware update. I've given up on Fujifilm and bought one of these SD card to USB C which I can just plug straight into my phone and transfer files. It's much faster than the garbage X app and doesn't lag at all. Au revoir X app. See you again never.

Hi everybody II did today the 2nd of September 2025 that there was a Playstore update to Fujifilm X app.  Since my Oppo is now gone, it would be interesting to see if there is any luck with Oppo/OnePlus/Realme or equivalent Chinese Roms. Do let me know.  I don't think we can say that it's Chinese Rom's, Fujifilm X-App or the Firmware update/s to Fujifilm. Rather an incompatibility issue somewhere with all 3 parties. Check phone updates, firmware & Playstore updates and of course camera firmware updates. Have spent hours and hours with processes of elimination and even reset my X100 VI, my Oppo so no need to reset phone or cameras. It's so annoying. We will get to the root of this..  Cheers
