Aspect Ratio

Please Fuji, would you add the option to set aspect ratio to 5 x 4? It's my favourite format especially for vertical landscape shots. Of course I can crop it in post but it would be nice to be able to compose precisely in 5 x 4 at the time of releasing the shutter.

Yes!  As far as I'm concerned they can substitute the 16:9 with 5:4 ANY DAY!

Yes, please 4:5 ratio, even just framelines would be good. I'll even take 3:4 aspect ratio.

Please, don't remove 16:9 option.

It's great for landscape works,

it's great for other scenes when main subject is wide but not tall,

and it's great for viewing on TV screens and most of PC monitors.

I wholeheartedly agree---I'd add 4/3 to the list. In their new GFX, they are apparently including MANY aspect ratio options. 

This would be a welcome addition to the xpro2 and upcoming x100F.

i'm happy with 3:2 can crop if required in post easy enough, I don't find it so hard to frame photo even if I have the intention of printing on 8X10 paper. Just make sure the focus object is in the centre

huh - good thinking & interesting , however as TIKUS points out the natural sensor size may as well be used, would it not be wonderful that instead of having the cut done within camera the viewfinder showed the output frame required in the viewfinder recording all the detail as u may want to move it a bit to the left or right, up a bit , down a bit

then when u got it press a print/save format button

The absence of a 3:4 image ratio-option is my reason not to step into the Fuji mirrorless system. The 2:3 imho gives a perspective that only suits a limited type of photo subjects.

I'm waiting for it since years. I'm a cinematographer using my xe-4 as a viewfinder and scouting camera. So 4:3 or cinemascope (at least framelines on camera for composing) would be definitely great!

4x5 and even 5x7 would  be very interesting for me to see in the viewfinder the exact composition of the image.
