X-Pro 1 Diopter +2 / +3 glass Nikon alternative

I saw a topic today about Nikon 19mm diopter glass that are compatible with the X-Pro1.

There are at least 2 or 3 on BH Photo but the thread Ø isn't given.

 

But which Nikon model is the one to choose?

As I remember, most of the Nikons, film and digital were of one size except the F3HP, which took a larger one. But . . . why not just buy a Fuji? Maybe they're a couple of dollars more expensive, that's all. I got two +3 at either B&H or Adorama.

I read that Nikon's FM series diopters will fit Fujifilm.....

Correction to my comments above: I actually bought the +3 diopters from Amazon. They were Fuji brand.

This is the one I bought recently. It is perfect for X-Pro1 camera, fits as original. As you can see it should be for old Nikon F/F2/F3 series, and you can find it on ebay,or maybe in your local store too; but I am from Croatia, so this was my only option.

Does + and - means magnification? Is there a magnification attachment for the eye piece of the xpro1?

I had a Nikon made diopter when I had a Pro 1 and it worked just fine.

I called Nikon and they recommended the Voigtlander dioptre lenses so I contacted Robert White here in the UK and they sold me a +2 dioptre lens.

 

Great service, great quality and works perfectly as well as endorsed by Fuji.

Fuji +1 diopters were not available so I bought a Nikon 19mm, it works well.
