  1. I like this one from an interview with David Bailey "I never understand when people say they don't know what to photograph. Look at a concrete wall with cracks in it, you can paint for eternity with that"
  2. You can increase your exposure time with the 12mm lens to around 24 seconds before you start getting movement in the stars, I would up the ISO as well to get more detail in the stars.
  3. The following 3 shots are all of the same staircase in a new art gallery, the different lines and shades/colours wa amazing in such a small place Te Uru Stairwell by Russell Dixon, on Flickr 50 Shades Of White Te Uru by Russell Dixon, on Flickr Stairwell Eye by Russell Dixon, on Flickr

  10. I havnt used a shoulder/neck strap for years, I use these paracord wrist straps on my Fuji, they are excellent. They cinch down to the wrist if yo let go of the camera, or someone tries to grab it from you, they are very comfy to use. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Paracord-Camera-Wrist-Strap-Various-Colours-Vailable-/251961766790?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aaa177386
