  1. Which sd card are you using? The ones listed on this site are decent: https://www.camera-rumors.com/best-memory-cards-for-fujifilm-x-t30/ but as long as your card meets the minimum requirements, it should be okay. Did you try using a different card?
  2. After digging through the manual, I found this happens when the compression type is set to All-Intra with the 4K frame size. Whether or not this also occurs when Long-GOP compression, the manual does not say. Do you have a way to read the exif information from the movie file?
  3. Try to avoid alcohol cleansers, as well as cleansers such as vinegar & water combinations. These are fine for household cleaning, but are very hard on rubber type seals. The best results I have had come from using Eclipse fluid on a Pec pad (sorry for the commercialism, there are equivalents!) for the lens glass. And then use a soft -- not medium or hard -- toothbrush swished in slightly dish-soapy water to get bad stuff of the barrel, then wipe the barrel off with a damp clean soft towel. Try to avoid the seals as best you can.
  4. Yeah, you are probably right, just covering some possibilities. After reading of the troubles with the version 1.21 firmware, I was curious if they are encountering that as well.
  5. How long did you charge the battery? Even with the lens cap on, you should be getting some default information listed on the back display.

    Sunset

After the sky cried and the tears flowed down the street ... (1) (1) lyric from various songs.
  7. https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t3/taking_photo/shooting_mode/index.html The X-T3 does have program shift, but does not have Shutter Shift. This type of problem you are describing does turn up now and then, it has been discussed on other forums, here is one: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63700347 another: https://www.reddit.com/r/fujix/comments/ba4d0n/xt3_shutter_speed_dial_problem/
  8. I wish there were other options to check, but it sounds like the button is broken.
  9. For completeness sake, there are several things to double check: The front and / or rear dial(s) are not set to change the shutter speed, and you are not accidentally moving them. The Menu Lock Setting is not turned on, menu > wrench > button / dial > lock, this can override the button. The menu options for min / max shutter speed setting are not set too narrow. The button itself may be broken, it will take a trip to your dealer to get this repaired.

  11. https://www.filmriot.com/blog/frame-rates-vs-shutter-speed/ It sounds like you have tried to set the shutter speed lower than 1/60, which is a problem for X-T3s in movie mode. I do not use the Ninja V, so I cannot answer your second question.
  12. It might not hurt to update the firmware(s) the current body version is 1.40 and the lens is up to version 3.23. There were some bugs that got squished by the updates. https://fujifilm-x.com/global/support/download/firmware/cameras/
  13. https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en-int/manual/x-s10/menu_setup/button-dial_setting/#focus_lever_setting Did you try turning the Focus Lever menu setting to Zoom mode and then try to zoom?
  14. Since you are using a MacBook, applications that use the on-board camera like FaceTime does while running in the background, may be getting in the way. This may help: https://www.howtogeek.com/682516/mac-camera-not-working-heres-how-to-fix-it/ I do not use the program you listed in your second question, so I do not have an answer for that one.
  15. Without any sample images, along with the camera settings used for the images, it is difficult to give a good answer to this. Have you tried using a tripod? When the light level is low, are you raising the ISO to compensate? What shutter speeds are you using? Do you mean the images are soft on a computer scree or in the camera's lcd and viewfinder?
