Hi, I had a quick search for this and couldn’t see anything so apologies if it’s been posted before. I have an X-T30 which I love, but the one thing that annoys me is the tripod plate needs to be removed to access the battery compartment. I’ve seen a few l brackets which allow access to the battery compartment. I have a Peak Design tripod, so the plate needs to be unscrewed with a little key and it’s just a pain. Can anyone recommend an l bracket which is compatible with the X-T30, allows access to the battery compartment, is decent quality and doesn’t add too much bulk?

I switched over to Fuji from Nikon a few years ago and seem to have become quite a gear collector. When I used Nikon I had a Nikon D7200 and the 24mm f1.8, 35mm f1.8, 50mm 1.8, 85mm f1.8, and 60mm f2.8D lenses. Since moving to Fuji I have managed to obtain the following: cameras: X-T3, X-T30, and recently the X100V lenses: Laowa 9mm f2.8, Fuji 10-24mm, Fuji 16mm F2, Fuji 16mm f1.4, Fuji 16-80, Fuji 18-55, Fuji 23mm f2, Fuji 27mm, Fuji 35mm f2, Mitakon 35mm, Fuji 50mm F2, Fuji 56mm, Voigtlander 58mm f1.4, Fuji 55-200, and the Fuji 90mm (still also have the Nikon 60mm f2.8D). So I

x-t30 X-t30 no longer able to record video - Need help
Somemorr posted a topic in Fuji X-T3 / Fuji X-T30
My problem: My X-t30 no longer lets me record video. Nothing happens when I push the shutter button in video mode. Background: - My main use for this camera is for recording video projects at my workplace. - I noticed the issue after using the camera as a webcam with a elgato camlink 4k. I had optimised the in-camera settings for use as a webcam during the past months of Zooming everyday. My attempted fixes so far: - I reverted all my in-camera settings back to my usual, non-webcam settings. - I updated the firmware to the latest version. - Many google -
Hey, this is a new member and new entree into the Fuji-clan. I am Oliver. Actually, I am a music composer based in Germany, through my travel and work, I noticed that I can’t stop to take pictures on the way. After the last 8 years only shooting with a smartphone, I purchase for the first time a new digital camera, a CANON 200D, in this month I got my first Fuji-Camera, an X-T30 with kit lens 18-55mm F2.8-4.0. I am pretty happy with it, to be honest, it is not the fastest system, but I also like the surprise which this system creates. With this cam, I could work on my portrait more with my own

I recently picked up the x-t30 after finding the Sony X100 Mark 7 point and shoot was a bit soft. I don’t know much about photography, but I love taking pics of flowers, family, pets, and travel. I realized that my x-t30 refused to take macros, so I got the mcex-16 to aid in that. I tried auto, manual, everything under the sun (I think), to try and take pics of my new African violet blooms. But my camera simply won’t budge when I press down on the shutter button. What am I doing wrong? Or is the Mcex-16 broken (it did come in a banged up box)? Also, I’m pairing it with a 18-55mm Fujinon

The photo editor Darktable have added support for X-T30, however that support currently lacks a noise profile. It would be great if someone would be able to assist them by creating one for them. There are instructions on how to create such a noise profile here https://pixls.us/articles/how-to-create-camera-noise-profiles-for-darktable/ I do not have all the pre-requisites for the photo-part of the process, but I can assist with the non-photo parts of the process if needed.
