Is there one available? Thanks.

Does anyone know how to set the color profiles to emulate the Advanced Settings > Miniature setting. I like the tones/contrast but would prefer not to have the Tilt/Shift effect applied. Thanks in advance!
-
I like the "miniature" setting on the advanced filter. Not so much for the tilt-shift look, but the color palette. Does anyone know how I can set up my XT3 or XPro 2 to simulate this look? Thanks in advance.

They replaced the motherboard - at least that is my best guess from the handwritten note on the repair form they included. Had it back within a week. Very satisfied with service.

Thanks for the note. I've had the camera since last October. Use it just about every day. No problems until the slot malfunctioned. Sent to Fuji - should arrive today.

Slot will not accept memory card on X-T3. It's not the card, tried several different cards and all were rejected and inserted fine in my X-Pro2 Anyone have a clue how this happened and how it can be fixed? Thanks in advance. Drake

dfaye - embarrassingly, it was user error - didn't have the lens fully connected to body. It works fine.

My XT 2 with MCEX-16 & 60mm lens will not fire. It appears to be fitted properly - I can focus the lens - and I have a fully charged battery installed. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have any idea why I am fumbling with this? Thanks in advance.

I am still using the flashpoint 360s and they are wonderful. Maybe the best speedlight value out there. Still only works on manual which is not really an issue for me. In fact, I was so impressed these units that I invested in (3) Xplor 600s - these are nice units as well, but the issue is control. Have to futz with a Nikon wireless transmitter which is not the most elegant of solutions. And the battery life is not near as long lasting as I had hoped. I'm sitting on the fence. Like others, I am hoping Godox / Flashpoint get their act together and produce a wireless trigger that is dedicated to the X cameras. If not, I may have to look for another lighting solution.

To Battery Grip or not to Battery Grip
Drake replied to jfoxshoots's topic in Fuji X-T2 / Fuji X-T20
Pre-ordered the grip to extend battery life and for shooting verticals. Really like the position of the additional shutter button. -
Newbie Fuji X user. Gallery will include images of me learning how to use my new / used X-PRO-1. So far, I'm thrilled with the gear.

I love the effect the 90mm lens achieves when shooting close up w/ wide apertures. I know that the Fuji is great for candids, portraits and landscapes, but I find this combination can be very effective for making still life images. We have several fruit trees in our backyard and over the years, I end up shooting some of the fruit that ends up on our table. A few others can be seen at my 500px account: https://500px.com/dapop

I've got the budget for one new camera this year. I have an X-Pro1 which I enjoy very much. I need a camera that shoots tethered though and it appears the X-Pro2 is not going to support that. (Am I mistaken?) I suspect I will wait for the X-T2 - are there any guesstimates when it will be available?

X-pro2 launch, keep or sell your x-pro1?
Drake replied to drb's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
Hi Frod - about that Fuji thumb rest, I own one. See: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/889589-REG/Fujifilm_600012331_X_Pro1_Ergonomic_Extension_Kit.html I like it, just wish I didn't have to remove it to mount a wireless trigger. I do think you are probably right about the battery grip though. -

The new X-Pro 2 looks terrific. I have been going back and forth all day about pre-ordering one. Here's why I'm on the fence: it looks like the dual slots and WiFi capabilities may be the answer to wanting to shoot tethered, though I'm still not totally certain about this. I'm eager to hear some real world use cases. From what I have read, the EyeFi and the X-Pro 1, had issues. For instance it would take about a minute to transfer an image. This won't work when I am working with clients who want to view the work in progress. It may be that I will eventually need to purchase a XT-1. Or, hold out even a bit longer for the XT-2. All that said, there are two things that I want Fuji to make for the X-Pro 2: 1) a "ergonomic extension kit" bracket, i.e. thumb rest/ grip thingy with a built-in hot shoe. 2) a vertical grip / battery pack with shutter release - similar to the one available for the XT-1 -
Wireless / Tethered Shooting

Thanks for the offer Mick - no need to go to that trouble. -
Wondering if anyone has any experience using the Eyefi Mobi Pro 32GB card with X Pro-1. My two main concerns with the Eyefi / X Pro - 1 combo are battery life and speed of transfer to desktop. Would appreciate any insight on this. I am hoping that the X Pro-2 will support tethered shooting but want to determine an alternative if not. Thanks!

I use a thumb grip and like it. I am curious about a version I found on eBay that includes a hot shoe, see: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Extra-Hot-Shoe-Thumbs-Thumb-Up-Grip-For-X10-EPM2-EP2-Xpro1-EP3-EPL3-EM5-Leica-M9-/171030172482 It's considerably less than the the Thumbs Up CSEP-2, but I like to use off camera flash and was looking for something along these lines. Would appreciate any comments on what appears to be the knock-off of the Thumbs Up version. (Is there such a thing as a knock-off of a third-party accessory?)

I mostly shoot still life & product. Made this just at the edge of my neighborhood in Novato, CA. Nice morning light got me out with X-Pro-1 & new 14mm. Fun rig.
