SETUP MENU 2 -> BUTTON/DIAL SETTING -> SELECTOR BUTTON SETTING -> Fn BUTTON.
-
Try go to SET-UP 1 -> SCREEN SETUP -> DISP. CUSTOM SETTING -> FOCUS FRAME and check this box.

Yeah, it's true, they messed up with this information, but it is, above all, wrong, as you can see in page EN-6 of the last manual: http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/x/fujifilm_xt1_manual_06_en_es_ru_zhs.pdf Besides, anyone with an X-T1 can confirrm that the minimum shutter speed using the electronic shutter is 1s for the X-T1.

Available :: X-T1 Firmware 4.30 / X-T10 FW 1.20

I don't think so: it's working fine for me. -
Xpro1 still worth buying? (06.15)
JRphoto replied to drb's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
My X-T1 has mechanical shutter and when I exchange lens I can see a completely unprotected sensor. -

Shooting menu - your favourite AF, Custom settings...
JRphoto replied to Titan_66's topic in Fuji X-T1 / Fuji X-T10
X-T1 camera Focus: AF-S, point, release priority, instant AF-S. Auto ISO: 6400, 1/125 Custom: color 0, sharpness +1, Highlight tone -2. Shadow tone -2, noise red. -2 Film simulation: Landscape Velvia; People: Provia, Astia, CC; Street: CC, B&W I would add: Dynamic range DR200 (200%) -
I have not shoot much video with the X-T1, but the manual says: "for continuous focus adjustment, Select C, or choose S and enable Intelligent Face Detection". Indeed, not much information about.
-
AFAIK, the X-T10 camera does have an automatic distortion correction for Fujifilm (Fujinon) XF and XC lenses.

Yes, in most cases 1-3 seconds are enough for water.
-
Well, not directly, but you can release the shutter button after aprox. 1 or 2 seconds, just to see if the image remains blank. Or you can set the shutter speed to "T" and use the front command dial to set a shutter speed between 2s to 30s (in this case I would recomend 2 seconds, first).
-
Well, then I would try shutter speed around 1 or two seconds just to see what happens.
-
Haha, very funny, but you don't need to: I'll be around trying to help whenever I feel I can. Good cruise and photos to you!

And the focus assist button quit working. The FOCUS ASSIST button doesn't work in two conditions: 1) if you're shooting in focus mode "C" (three options, lever in camera lower front: "S", "C", "M"); 2) When menu item AUTOFOCUS SETTING -> PRE-AF is "ON".
-
Ha ha! I'm happy that worked. You're welcome!
-
Well, I think it has nothing to do with the viewmode. When in shooting mode, push DISP/BACK button and set the display to CUSTOM (this justify the "DISP" in DISP/BACK). (the options are INFO DISPLAY, STANDARD, INFORMATION OFF, CUSTOM, and DUAL)

Presently Fuji have six weather resistant lens, three primes and three zooms. The primes XF 16mm F1.4 R WR, XF 35mm F2 R WR and XF 90mm F2 R LM WR. And the zooms: XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR and XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR.

Unexpected, but true, I can confirm that. Is this undocumented? Just to be precise, using the H1 and H2 ISO settings, the machine defaults the ISO to 6400. Thanks for the information! Here FW 4.21

It looks modern: it is exactly in the same way that the tripod screw is fixed at the brand new X-Pro2: http://www.fujirumors.com/enjoy-first-real-life-image-of-the-fujifilm-x-pro2-and-merry-x-mas-my-fellow-x-shooters/

Furthermore, RAW images canot be recorded setting ISO to L, H1 or H2 ( page 50, X-T1 manual).

X-T1 LCD Fails when articulated
JRphoto replied to Amer Kapetanović's topic in Fuji X-T1 / Fuji X-T10
Hi Amer, That's weird! I just test my machine and it works as it should. It does not show the described behavior. I doubt this has something to do with the firmware version. Despite your considerations, I think a hardware glitch is more probable. -
First post here... And it's a color complaint (X-T10)
JRphoto replied to hambern's topic in Fuji X-T1 / Fuji X-T10
Did you try setting SHADOW TONE menu item to -2? Also, it is interesting to notice that the colors tones you get depends also on the lens. For instance, the XF 60mm F2.4 renders warmer images than the XF 56mm F1.2. -
Indeed, I agree. And you're welcome!
