  1. 10 minute limit is achievable easily for anyone . they were talking about longer recording , back to back recording . so it needs time to cool after 10 minutes ! otherwise the next recording won't reach 10 minute. using dummy battery and faster card's help , but only up to the second continuous recording of 10 minutes max. so a cooling system would fix this and allow for back to back continuous recording , by maintaining the temperature in a optimal range , so there is no need to wait for it cool in between the recordings !. so diy cooling ideas or external monitor is the solution , even when using external monitor too , diy cooling ideas would be beneficial !. there is no overheating issue with the camera , there was never that kind of issue like canon r5 had with the firmware . the topic is solely based on how to make the camera shoot back to back continuously for a prolonged period without waiting for it to cooldown between the 10 minute recordings at 4k !. since the beginning itself ,when camera is at optimal temperature it always record the 10 minute limit , so there was no firmware issue or a overheating issue with the camera !. i hope this helps ! . have a nice day ahead !
  2. In xt-30 you can assign a button for that, and xs-10 is similar . so you could do it !. also since in most fujfilm cameras you can do it . so i guess you can get it ! . i hope this helps !. have a nice day ahead !
  3. Thought to start a thread where everyone can share pictures taken of just the random and common things we see daily in our life or we used to see daily in the past etc.. yup ! the things which we usually don't take pictures of thinking it won't look good to showcase . but it actually has a different flavor and it tells a different story about each of us ! . so hope all of you share in this thread often the things which is or were a part of your daily life, but not taken pictures of or showcased or not given importance before !. let's shed some light into the parts where we never did before !. have a great day to all !. i will start with a picture of a calculator i used while i was in collage , recently i took it from the attic and it's battery has leaked and left scars across the display and exteriors . but just brings back many memories.
  4. i mainly use capture one . but since you don't like it . i would suggest luminar which has a different interface and works well with fujifilm files . take pictures in good lighting and low iso , so there won't be much need of post processing and try different film simulations . unless you edit each and every pictures ,like after importing and cataloging etc... this workflow will suit you too. i always try to imagine how i want the picture to look , so i dial in the settings to best match the output i wanted , so i don't usually need to process and even when i have to process , it's simply the highlights , shadows and saturation sliders , a little bit . if that's the case for you too , then shoot raw+jpeg and imagine the output before shooting ,so you only have to tweak a few pictures you take , and at low iso the jpeg files are usable (no noise etc..) direct from camera !. hope this helps ! . have a nice day ahead !
  5. if the settings are set , they don't have to be set every single time ! . it stays as long the settings are changed manually !. so don't worry . set the channel ,and start firing ! . hope this helps !. have a nice day ahead !
  6. that's a very good camera . if you like to take pictures then your choice is totally justified ! wish you good luck with it !!.
  7. if all this settings , tips etc.. fail . then definitely contact fujifilm service ! because then it might be a manufacturing defect ,which will be replaced by the seller . your camera and lens is capable of capturing way too faster moving subjects than dogs .so wish you good luck !
  8. 16-80 is not the fastest focusing lens . still there is a few things you can do ! . first put the focus to "zone mode" (menu>af mf>af mode>zone). then go to af-c custom settings(menu>af mf>af-c custom settings) in that set tracking sensitivity to "quick" (it's 0 in my camera) , then set speed tracking sensitivity to " accel/deccel "(it's 2 in my camera). then go to menu> af mf> PRE-af ,switch it ON . then go to (menu> af mf > release/focus priority > there is two options for af-s and af-c set both to "focus". now finally switch the lens stabilization off (lens stabilization is beneficial for low shutter speeds , at higher shutter speeds it's not required and disabling it makes the shot faster) and shoot in "continuous high" mode. also choose a shutter speed equal or above 1000 for shooting moving subjects. and aperture at the widest possible in your case always at f4. you can easily capture fast things with the camera , way better than any phone just have to change settings according to the subject you are shooting and according to the light . but always the higher the shutter speed the better ! and 1000 is the minimum speed for moving subjects. i hope this helps. have a nice day !
  9. godox tt350 is having the lowest price among the smallest flashes for fujifilm. also it has more power and faster recycle time than fujifilm ef-x20 also better results in hss mode . according to forums godox tt350 is more powerful than nikon r1c1 too. also godox x2t trigger is latest version ,newer than the godox xpro trigger. i hope this helps. have a nice day !
  10. godox ttl receiver works with godox flash only and as i said godox doesn't have twin flash. also i even searched if it could trigger twin flashes from meike etc.. but as far as i know it doesn't work !. but if you can use flashes like GODOX V1 which has more diffusion than the traditional flashes with a godox trigger like GODOX X2T-F, that would work till godox makes a twin flash for any system , since godox trigger can connect with godox or flashpoint flashes made for any systems wirelessly. but the trigger's won't connect to the twin flashes made by other manufacturers like meike who has a wirelessly triggered twin flash for other systems (as far as i checked ). ). so there is no twin flash for fujifilm system for now ,but you can also check if you can get 2 small godox flashes and strap on the lens temporarily like a twin flash and connect both to the godox receiver !. Godox TT350F (smallest godox HSS flash) Godox X2T-F (wireless trigger latest version compatible with all godox and flashpoint flash) GODOX V1-F round type flash which has more diffused flash so here's the links to each for the lowest price i found . you could buy two TT350F and use gaff tape or make a diy rig to make it into a twn flash and trigger it wirelessly after mounting it on lens. it will be similar to using twin flash with more power !. the diy setup won't look pretty , but it will get your job done perfectly !. i hope this helps. have a nice day my friend.
  11. i read a few articles now . it says that the issue maybe caused by color spaces . the default color spaces of screens are sRGB , but our camera's can capture images in adobe rgb or prophoto rgb etc.. which has lot more colors than srgb and that data is stored in the image file data. so when a image is transferred to different devices the data in the image file which says it is in adobe rgb or in prophoto rgb is recognized by the device and it's automatically converted to display in the rgb color space of most device screens (there is high end screens which display more color spaces). but while exporting the image or while copying the image or while converting etc....the image data is lost ! which stores the color space information . so when the image file which lost the color space data (which tells the device that it is in adobe or prophoto rgb) , without color space information the device doesn't convert to the color space of the image file before displaying screen , so the displayed image looks bad and color shift's etc... so my guess is the conversion/compression process by facebook in phone and computer is different and one of it is removing the image data from the image file . so test this by taking pictures in camera in "RGB" color space !. let me know the results !. have a nice day ahead to you !
  12. my friend i get a bit of color difference between computer and phone (huawei) too. but i thought it was due to the color bit depth difference between computer and phone screen . so i started adjusting it while processing raw to match the good appearance in the phone screen (since it has more color depth). but if i find a solution ,i will let you know . have a nice day !
  13. have you checked the custom settings mode ?. i think it's in "IQ" settings in menu . let me know if you have checked it ! .have a nice day !
  14. i actually didn't know much about dental photography, so i thought probe lens could work too ! . thanks for the information my friend !. have a great day ahead !
  15. if you meant focus peaking , yes it works ! actually with any type of lens . i hope this helps . have a nice day !. before deciding , watch the probe lens video i linked in your other post !
  16. you mean the focus peaking ?
  17. i send you the link to rokinon , they both are similar , but rokinon is 50$ cheaper in amazon , i send you the lowest priced deal i could find now. but for now ,no one has released fujfilm compatible twin flashes . i will let you know when someone does make it available . i checked if fujifilm compatible trigger's could trigger the wirelessly triggered meike twin flash for canon and nikon , but it won't work . so let's wait . but have you checked the probe lens i told about ? , if you want i can show you a video where it's used along with the visuals . i thought it was better for this job . but it's your choice . anyway i'll share a link to a youtube video in which it is used ! i hope this helps . have a nice day ahead !
  18. i found a 100mm macro option .you can check it and see if this is suitable for you or not . here is a link to it ! 100MM MACRO LENS ROKINON FX MOUNT This is the rokinon lens, there is a similar one in the samyang branding , but it's kind of very similar and this one is a more than 50$ less . so hope this helps . have a nice day !
  19. does a probe len's work for your way of dental photography. then there is a probe lens with in-built led lights VENUS OPTICS LAOWA PROBE LENS but it's ef mount , so you need a speedbooster to use it ( speedboosters are better than normal adapter's) VILTROX SPEEDBOOSTER MARK 2 so check this and see if it work's . since i guessed you have to do dental photography occasionally . i think this will be very useful . but if you only need the twin flash , then i will let you know when someone release a version compatible with fujifilm !. so let me know. have a nice day !
  20. is it for macro photography ?. then there is ring light/flash compatible with fujifilm xt -2. i saw one recently on amazon , Dual Macro LED Ring Flash for Fujifilm xt-2 here ,is this what you are looking for ? .or are you looking for high speed sync flashes with remote trigger ? . let me know . so i will get you some recommendations , which you can check . have a nice day !
  21. xt-3 would work well ! in fujifilm family . outside fujifilm you can get sonya72 with kit lens in the similar price of fujifilm xt30 with the kit lens ,in canon you can get rp which is good for vlogging as i heard in the similar price range . but all those have modern style and only fujifilm has film camera aesthetic and analog type control's etc.. but it's your choice my friend !. so if you are buying into other camera system's.. for you need of vlogging , i hope you join fujifilm family later . i hope this helps. have a nice day ! and.. hope to see you soon in the fujifilm family !
  22. i think you could use a cheap capture card and a micro hdmi to hdmi cable to use fujifilm xt-30 and xs-10 as a webcam. i recently saw from omar gonzales video !. well at least until , fujifilm releases a firmware which allow proper use as a webcam like other fujifilm camera's. USB CAPTURE CARD MICRO HDMI TO HDMI CABLE watch his video if you don't know how to do it . if you know , i hope the links helps . have a nice day !
