I‘d guess the parts would be the same in both cases. Just the place of assembly differs. More a psychological factor IMHO.

Welcome to our forum! The X-T10 would not really be a step up since it's an older model than the X-T100. Go for the X-T30 (or X-T3).

Did you add the phone as a new device on the camera (button down in the start option of the wifi menu IIRC)?

Did you connect your phone's wifi to the camera's wifi?

Did you extract the firmware file? The download is most likely a zip archive.

Fujifilm introduced the Fuji X-T4 today, the new top of the range camera model. Following the X-T3, the new camera is improved in many aspects. There is the new built-in image stabilizer, a premiere for the X-T series, and the autofocus system has been significantly improved. . The X-T4 will be available starting in April, coming with a black and silver finish. There will be different kit lens options (XF18-55, XF16-80), or body only, of course. Fujifilm X-T4 Pictures
