Is there a quick and easy way to ensure my smartphone is actively connected to my X-T5? I have paired it no problem, and I have had it working / tethered / downloaded images etc so that's all good and the connection is correctly established. What I have not yet figured out is how one is supposed to quickly re-establish the connection. I want to use it for geo-tagging so when I get to a place where I'm going to take some pictures I want to be sure the link is established. But if I don't open the app, if definitely doesn't appear to connect in the background. And even when I opened the app, it was not showing connected. I poked a few things but it didn't seem to connect. And then - a minute or two later - it decided it was in fact now connected. Obviously I can speed it up by going into my iPhone's Bluetooth settings, manually tapping on the X-T5 to force the Bluetooth to connect, and then opening the app... but that's a lot of tapping when all I want to do it take pics. Is there maybe a sneak circuit here somewhere? A menu option on the camera to tell it to connect? Or can the app be told to keep looking for the camera (even when the app is running in the background) and to connect whenever it sees it? Thanks

Hello, I updated to the new app and the connection and overall import flow works so much better (X100V model). Nevertheless, when looking at the pictures, they all have the date and time of the import time and not when the picture was taken. I've given all permissions to the app and tried uninstalling and repairing again but the issue remains. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this would be highly appreciated

Haven't been able to find a video or anything actually demonstrating the auto image transfer feature to the app, either while taking photos or when you turn the camera off and it does it in the background. Can anyone verify that this feature works well? Do the images just hang out in the app and you then have to save them directly to your phone or will they just show up in your phones photo gallery? Thanks in advance - this is kind of the make or break feature keeping me from going with the x100v vs saving some money on an older model that just has the standard wifi transfer. Ethan

Hi, The new 17.12.2019 firmware did not fix this bug. Camera set to Manual focus and focused using back button focus (instant focus) or focus ring around the lens e.g. to 0,1m or to be sure it is in infinity. Put camera on tripod and start smartphone app Camera Remote to shoot. With the Remote Release button the shots are in the focus set before manually. But in this mode I cannot change anything remotely only release. But if I start from the app the Live view shooting -mode then the prefocus is not correct but it is always in 2 meters! And now I am not able to focus from smartphone because the camera still is in manual focus mode. My camera is XF1 but perhaps same source code is used in other Fuji models and this bug is not only XF10 issue. My phone is Android Samsung S7 Raimo

I have "Auto-Transfer" turned on in Cam Remote, but I’m able to import jpegs from my X-T4 to my iPhone 11 only on a batch basis, and only after a long and tortuous process for each batch. After each transfer, I have to turn the camera off, and then on again if I want to take more pictures. Ideally, I’d like the jpegs to transfer in the background while I shoot. Is that possible, or is it too much to expect?
