  1. IIRC there is a step by step guide on Fuji‘s page. You don’t have to open the downloaded file, just copy it to the root of your SD card.
  2. We have dome topics concerning this problem, please look here e.g.
  3. What‘s the capacity of your power bank?
  4. I don’t really understand what you’re trying to do. You have to put the downloaded and unpacked firmware file to the root directroy of an SD card, place it in the camera and switch the camara on while pressing display. After this the camera should offer to start the update.
  5. The topic has been separated.
  6. Did you use the front switch for selecting manual mode?
  7. It‘s the best explanation in my opinion. Of course there can be other reasons. But these would also lead to the conclusion that the camera is defective.
  8. Since you set the exposure manually there is no use for exposure compensation as in other programs. Auto ISO should work though.
  9. Welcome to our forum. There is an internal battery (or capacitor) inside the cam to hold the power for some if the camera is switched off and the attached battery is empty or removed. It seems that this internal battery is malfunctioning. The cam probably needs service.
  10. I think it's normal to some degree. Without the possibility to hear and compare the noise to other cameras it's hard to assert there is a problem or no problem. Which setting did you change?
  11. Some noise from IS or autofocus is quite common. If you notice it depends on the environment of recording (and playback).
  12. The noise is probably coming from the image stabilizer.
  13. Sounds like over exposure. Check the aperture, exposure time and ISO settings
  14. The lens wouldn't work correctly in auto mode then, IMHO. Did you watch the exposure meter while shooting? The EVF does brighten up the same as the display. You can switch off this behavior in the settings.
  15. Which manual settings did you use? Don‘t depend just on the viewfinder in dark environents or with large aperture values since it will brighten up the picture with standard viewfinder settings. Look at the exposure indicator, should be around 0.
  16. What do you mean by „not connecting“? Is it possible you switched the lens to manual focus?
  17. Welcome. The images do not appear in your comment
  18. Looks like an effect of the electronic shutter. Switch to mechanic shutter with artificial light sources.
  19. You‘re welcome.
  20. Welcome here!
  21. Activate „shoot wirhout lens“ in camera setup
  22. Welcome to our forum!
  23. Welcome to our forum !
  24. Did you check the linked thread above? In many cases the problem is a result of dirt or dust on the EVF sensor. In sone cases a slightly misplaced eyepiece.
