  1. Have you done all of these: - Set the Drive dial on top of the camera to Bracketing (BKT) - In the Shooting Menu => Drive Setting => Bkt Setting => Choose the three film simulations you want to use and (most important) - In the Shooting Menu => Drive Setting => Bkt Setting => Bkt Select : Choose Film Simulation
  2. You have Clarity in the Image Quality menu set to something other than zero
  3. I don't know - I use my phone for those situations
  4. I wouldn't - you might be disappointed after having the X-S10 - especially with autofocus and video - there are camera size comparison sites on the web where you can compare them side by side.
  5. You have to use a card reader - there is a 4GB limit in copying from Fujifilm cameras to Mac computers via USB
  6. You are missing just one thing - you have to disconnect AF from the shutter button if you want to use AF-ON and not have focus change when you take the photo (or half press): https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-s20/menu_setup/button-dial_setting/#shutter_af
  7. How big are the files? It might be possible to extract the preview jpg - it would be 13MP so better than nothing.
  8. Maybe try a different card - hopefully its a card problem and not a camera problem. If the image can't be viewed in the camera then it can't be a computer compatibility issue.
  9. Do you have a local camera store where you could handle the cameras and see which you prefer? The X-S10 has more of a conventional DSLR form factor with PASM dials whereas the X-T30 and X-T3 have separate dials for different functions. My preference is for the X-S10 as I like the handling - especially the larger grip - its also probably the best of the three for video. The X-T3 is the more robust of the three - two card slots - weather sealing - support for faster UHS-II cards etc etc. If you can stretch to the X-S20 you also get subject detection autofocus which is handy - especially for wildlife. I'm not sure you can go wrong with any one of them and everyone has their own favourite.
  10. You probably have AF+MF set to on which overrides Focus Priority https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t5/menu_shooting/af_mf_setting/#af-mf
  11. Morris certainly shows how well the Fringer adapter works with Nikon lenses (especially for bird photography). I regularly use the Canon version with the Canon EF 200/2.8 lens as there is nothing similar in the Fujifilm range - it also works well.
  12. You have Movie Silent Control set to on (you can tell by the little movie camera icon with SET in the bottom right of the screen) - turn it off in the Movie menu.
  13. Have you selected HDR in the Shooting Menu? https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en-int/manual/x-t30-2/menu_shooting/shooting_setting/#hdr
  14. Ah - I misunderstood - hopefully its a problem with the card and not the camera - have you tried a different card?
  15. How did you transfer the file from camera to computer? There is a known problem with transferring large files via USB cable and the solution is to use a card reader.
  16. Thanks - I can't make the picture work but my question is answered
  17. Thanks for the update - would the iPad Pro 11" fit better with less camera equipment? Or is it just the size of the tablet?
  18. It works better with Android - Fujifilm just don't seem very good at developing software for Apple devices - hopefully they have had lots of feedback and will make improvements
  19. I agree with Jerryy - although AF Mode can be selected with a function button which speeds it up just a bit
  20. Looks like a sunny day here in the UK today - a good day to get out with the new camera
  21. The technical specs for each camera show the minimum ISO for each DR setting - here is an example for the X-S10 https://fujifilm-x.com/global/products/cameras/x-s10/specifications/ Look for the "Dynamic range setting" section
  22. Maybe you are shooting in compressed raw? If you connect the card via card reader to the MacBook what do you see when you access the card in Finder? Do you see any files? Is it the files that are missing or are the files there but just not readable? Try shooting on jpeg and see if you still get the problem.
  23. How do you know its 30,000 and is this for mechanical shutter (or mostly electronic)?
  24. That should only happen if you are shooting in raw only (in the Image Quality menu) and Backup in the SAVE DATA SETTING menu CARD SLOT SETTING. Are you shooting Raw+Jpeg in the Image Quality menu?
  25. Which camera? Are you in some sort of setting that only supports M like high speed crop?
