Third party lenses IBIS only work on 3 axis. Still good but not the same as Fuji lenses will have
-
Hey guys, Just spent some time with Francis (One of the FujiGuys). I should've taken a photo to prove that I really did try the camera but oh well. If you believe me, feel free to ask any questions. Here are some quick points I noticed: - The new shutter button sucks, way too sensitive. - Body feels amazing in hand, the deeper grip makes a huge difference - Eterna film simulation is very sexy - IBIS works amazing - Auto focus is faster but not enough to be noticeable - Mechanical shutter is MUCH quieter Disclaimer: I am not an ambassador or an employee of Fujifilm

Is possible live view in a Mac via HDMI? No tethering.
kangmlee replied to mendimundi's topic in Fuji X-T2 / Fuji X-T20
Nope, the HDMI on a Mac is video-out only. It cannot accept any incoming video. It is technically possible on an iPad but no one ever made an app/cable for that -
There is no best. Most people will film in 23.98 for a cinematic look. 29.97 for a documentary look.

Has anyone here pre-ordered the GFX

Waiting on the 110mm f2 before making a final decision. -
Thanks!

Fast lenses / DOF question

My fiance doesn't want me to, she says putting money towards the wedding is priority -
Why does this camera have a top display?!?!
kangmlee replied to wildcart's topic in Fuji GFX 50R / GFX 50S / GFX 50SII
No dial for the ISO, the screen becomes more relevant. -
Bigger and more expensive. I get that people want IBIS. Myself I don't really care for it but people shouldn't critisize OP for asking for it.

Has anyone here pre-ordered the GFX
kangmlee replied to algrove's topic in Fuji GFX 50R / GFX 50S / GFX 50SII
Since the X-T2 has issues regarding low light focusing in reception halls, the GFX will be much worse for sure. The 63mm was hunting a bit when I was testing it in a hotel with low light. -
Fast lenses / DOF question

It'll be hard to take portraits but that bokeh will be creamy and delicious. -
how many bit in GFX the files ?
kangmlee replied to honsonyip's topic in Fuji GFX 50R / GFX 50S / GFX 50SII
Yes 14bit, confirmed by Fuji guys. -
The 50 does mean megapixels. If the GFX 50S is a success, Fujifilm will release a 100S in a far future.

Not on my side. I played with it and loved the 120mm but I am going to wait until the 110mm comes out before thinking about buying it. 90% of my pictures are taken with my 56mm, I need something similar -
Hey guys, I often meet the Fuji guys so I get to play with newer devices before their release. My current gears are the X-T2 and X-T10 with several lenses. I mostly shoot portraits, fashion and weddings. Feel free to check out my Instagram.

Get the 56mm f1.2 lens or wait for the 50mm f2?
kangmlee replied to hjalmarg1's topic in Fuji X Lenses
I would never switch my 56mm, the focus is more than fast enough and I am addicted to that bokeh! -
I shoot portraits and weddings so: 23mm, 35mm, 56mm The day I buy my own GFX: 63mm, 110mm and 120mm

I took the following with the 120mm at f/9 on the GFX, notice how the right eye is tack sharp and the left one is out of focus. This is at f/9, imagine this at a much larger aperture. Fuji GFX50-091 by Kang Min Lee, on Flickr -
