  1. I exclusively use the OVF and it happens all the time. So it's not the EVF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. American dreaming by Mike Manzano, on Flickr San Francisco Chinatown A frame from my first shoot with an X-Pro2.
  3. Mine is also a 61A0. Good to hear your camera works perfectly!
  4. I am on my second X-Pro2 now having replaced the first one. They both have the turn on/off issue. I have read threads where other people had their camera replaced and the issue persisted. I'm beginning to believe they all have this issue. Some people have returned or contacted Fuji about the problem and their response so far has been that the camera needs to be sent in for repairs because it's likely a hardware issue with the lens mount. One person sent theirs into Fuji France and they said that it was the first time they've seen the problem and didn't yet have the parts available to fix it. If you get your camera replaced and it doesn't have this issue, I'd love to hear about it as everything else I've read seems to suggest they all have this issue.
  5. Just an update on my newly replaced X-Pro2: it also has the turn off/turn on problem. I'm guessing it's just a problem that they all have, and one that Fuji will have to fix.
  6. One more thing to check, make sure you haven't dialed in a custom white balance.
  7. Only thing I can think of is check your EVF BRIGHTNESS. My EVF and LCD looks pretty much the same. You might also check PREVIEW EXP./WB IN MANUAL MODE and PREVIEW PIC. EFFECT, but those last two would also affect your LCD panel.
  8. Can you post a photo? My XP2 EVF doesn't look that much different than my XT1's.
  9. LOL no fair, it wasn't April 1st yet where I am
  10. Sometimes I shoot through fences or window bars where I try to frame a subject in the spaces between them only to find the subject obscured by the bars because of parallax error. Guess I just have to train myself to go EVF in such situations. Regardless, I love that I can make that choice. However, when I use the EVF I feel like I'm watching surveillance video. With the OVF I feel like I'm part of the action which has a positive effect on my mindset while I'm photographing on the street.

  12. I got my camera store to replace it since it was within their 30-day exchange policy.
  13. So the new camera just exhibited the reset bug (I haven't patched it yet). All of a sudden it was speaking Danish to me. Had a good time trying to find the language menu setting
  14. Just got mine replaced. Will see if it does the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Also, if you need to turn the dial a large distance, don't try to do it in one maneuver. Lift, spin a little, lift spin a little, repeat. I agree with Nick05, it actually is easier to access and use than the X-T1's separate dial, especially when looking through the viewfinder.
  16. I did a test today where I let the camera warm up, then took a whole bunch of frames over several hours. The turn on/off bug happened once, no black frames, and the camera got warm, but not hot. I wonder if this bug goes away after a break-in period. I will be out shooting again tomorrow and will see how it does.
  17. What did Fuji say about your camera? Am having the same problem with the 23mm lens attached. http://twitter.com/bffmike | http://facebook.com/leftspin
  18. It's not just you, other people have reported this. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but you're not alone. http://twitter.com/bffmike | http://facebook.com/leftspin

  21. I think this is true for all the controls, including shadow/highlights/color. I think it was the same on my X100S, so I assume the T also had them "backwards". I've gotten use to them through, so no biggie. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. XP2 -> Desktop Lightroom -> Mobile Lightroom on iPad Pro. Although I import to my desktop (where a RAID ensures my photos are never lost), I add it to a synced collection on import so the photos are automatically synced to the iPad Pro where I can rate them. I will also try out adjustments on the iPad Pro and really only use the desktop if I need to fine tune an image. I really wish I could use the brush tool on the iPad Pro since the pencil would be awesome for that, but unfortunately that feature isn't there. Also, you can't export full-res images from Lightroom Mobile if they were synced (only if you import them directly to the iPad), so I still use the desktop for that. However, I have a good remote screen app (called "Screens") on the iPad where I can remote control the desktop, and an app called Astropad if I really wanted to use the brush tool. With these apps, I can do almost all of my processing on the couch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Happened to me, just thought I'd set something wrong in the camera. Guess I won't use multi-metering from now on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
