  1. Got my xpro2 almost in the first wave in Australia. Had this issue 30-40 times. Some time, it appeared about every 6 shots. Got my replaced by the camera shop about 1 week later. Now is on the second body, had seen this same issue happened once so far. Didn't make another replace/repair yet. This indeed is really annoying and a bad issue if Fuji wouldn't recognize it.
  2. Hi John, How did you go with the weekend testing? I took the pro out this afternoon for a casual shot. The problem only got worse. The issue happened like around 10 times this afternoon. I got a faster card on Friday. So it's not the card's issue. I also borrowed my friend's 23mm to test, the issue still happened. So it's not the lens issue either. For me, it feels definitely a defect with the camera. And I have only seen us reporting this issue, seems to be a minority.. I plan to take the camera to the retail shop tomorrow to see if they can do an exchange, otherwise I will send to Fuji for check or return. fingers cross.. other than this annoying issue, camera is brilliant. Danny
  3. Even worse today, the issue happened at least 6 - 8 times in the afternoon when I was out shooting. Plan to take back to the retail shop tomorrow to see what they can do, if not, I will send back to Fuji for check / repair.
  4. Thanks John for replying. At least we have an idea now that at least there are 2 cases identified but not one. I have ordered a faster SD card ( was also thinking might be a card issue) and will test the camera with the new card during the weekend and will post an update on Monday.
  5. I probably should have say it's the shitter curtain stuck, not the shitter button itself. Seems no one has the Samuel issue ... Might send back for check / repair..
  6. My camera shows me "turn off the camera and turn back on" message for 5 - 6 time. When it happened, it feels like the shutter curtain cannot be closed completely. Most of the LCD is black and a narrow area on the top have lights ( not focused ). I am using a 18-55 lens bought on last Friday too. Not sure if it's a cements issue or lens issue.
  7. As posted in another thread. I have experienced 5-6 times " turn off the camera and turn it back on" message since last Friday. Before this message, it feels like the shutter stuck somehow. The lens is 18-55. Not sure if it's the camera or the lens. Still testing, might need to send for repair.
  8. Like most of you guys I have got mine shiny X Pro 2 last Friday and has been playing with it for the last few days. The first day I had that resetting issues and it got resolved by itself after leaving the battery in the camera body for more than 24 hrs. So it only happened once to me. Another strange / annoying issue is more concerned, I have experience at least 5 - 6 times, when I push the shutter buttons, I hear twice shutter movement sound(normally once), after the second one, the shutter feels like stuck somehow and on the LCD I see a partially black screen with the top having some light/image displayed (to me it feels like the shutter hasn't fully return to the position). And then the camera gives me an error message - 'Turn off the camera and turn it back on'. If I reboot the camera, the issue is resolved. But not sure when it will come back, as said, I have seen this 5 - 6 times so far. At this stage, I am not sure if this is a defect in the camera or the lens (I bought both them last week) or even the SD card which is a very old and slow Sandisk one (45mb/s). Just wondering if you have experienced something similar to my second issue and how you solved it? As it happens randomly, I haven't got any video or photo of it yet. Thanks!
