  3. I already own an x100V which I've shot quite a lot with, and by now I am very familiar with the feeling of its controls. On friday I got the latest iteraction of the x100 serie, and as soon as I held it I felt the viewfinder selector and button seemed a bit looser, and in general much worse quality compared to the older one. Can anyone confirm this? When I heard that production moved to china I was a bit skeptical despite the "china or japan is the same quality" claims but if worse quality or QC is the price to pay to satisfy deman I'll gladly keep my older camera and give up the IBIS I actually bought the IV for.

  4. Its useful to extend battery life, if you ever find yourself in a position where your battery life is low with no charged spare battery. Happened to me once with my X-Pro2 and the OVF pulled me out of the hole...

  5. When I have time to really work with a shot, I tend to use the EVF. What I've found recently, though, is that when I'm having to be quick, I use the OVF almost all the time.

  6. In really bright light, the OVF is really nice to have. I could live without it, but I'd miss it.

  7. FUJI: Why can't you allow for a "SOUND & FLASH" to be assigned as Fn programmable button??? This would be a good solution. Quite incredible that the flash cannot be turned on/off with just a push of a button... on a PREMIUM camera...

  8. I recently sold my X100F and bought a Silver X100V. I’m quite familiar with the menus and operating system and am quickly falling in love with this beautiful camera. I wanted a really nice case to protect it and decided to spring for the Gariz Half-Case and the matching Case Cover. It was expensive but this camera is such a work of art that I wanted to be sure it was well protected The black leather is very high quality as is the construction of the half-case and the case cover. I’ve been shooting Fuji exclusively for about 6 years and have been a serious amateur my entire adult life. I presently use an X-T3 and an X-E3 in addition to the X100V and probably have more lenses than I need. My passion is outdoor adventure photography. As much as I love my other 2 Fuji bodies I totally enjoy using the X100V as it reminds me of my first serious camera, a Leica IIIG, which I still own but seldom use. So if you’re looking for a really nice case for your new V check out the Gariz cases.
