    New to Fuji cameras.

My name is Steve S.I live in the Denver area, and i'm a retired Navy. I know a bit about photography but not nearly enough to justify buying a GFX-100s. I optimistic I can learn enough to figure out what this camera can do. Thanks in advance!

  2. The XF55-200mm isn't compatible with the teleconverter, and it's a physical issue, not Firmware. The teleconverter compatible lenses have a recessed rear element, and the teleconverter has a protruding front element that fits into that space. This isn't the case for the XF 55-200mm, and XC 50-230mm

    Introduce Yourself

Hello, I'm Richard from Florida and a long time Pentax user since the 1970's, I purchased my first Fuji (X-S10) about a month or so ago with the 18-55mm kit lens and am loving it. My next purchase will be the 70-300mm lens which I'll be ordering this week. It's great to be part of a thriving community of Fuji users. I'm a casual shooter these days but you can check out some of my images taken over the past few years on Instagram.. https://www.instagram.com/richardrizzo_photography/

  4. Definitely try some pics in good light of a static subject on a tripod. If those don't come out tack-sharp, a visit to the shop is definitely in order, Good luck, I hope there's nothing wrong with your camera. I've had a different mirrorless system (Sony) for 6 years and there is still plenty of stuff I'm learning about this thing!

  5. if all this settings , tips etc.. fail . then definitely contact fujifilm service ! because then it might be a manufacturing defect ,which will be replaced by the seller . your camera and lens is capable of capturing way too faster moving subjects than dogs .so wish you good luck !

  7. In the film days, i used to buy Velvia and Sensia by batch of 40 rolls and liked them a lot. They were mostly used on Nikon FM2. I then switched to Canon FF DSLR. But carrying a DSLR everyday was a chore. So I was looking for a smaller and well built camera for everyday use. After considering many brands and models, I liked the X100F the most and decided to give Fujifilm camera a first chance. I am very happy I did. So far the Canon R6 has been my first choice for weddings as I need dual-slot SD cards and quieter shutter than my DSLR. I checked the X-T4 at my local shop last week and was very pleased with the metal build of it, so X-T4 is also a serious candidate. I'll post a few pics of my X100F later.
