Regarding the X-Pro, by far the biggest problem for me is the weak AF by less contrast subjects and low light conditions. I would appreciate if FujiFilm would provide again an AF firmware update for the X-Pro. Faster is not really necessary, but an AF that works better in less favorable light conditions. Especially now it seems to takes a longer time before there will be a successor!

It's a PRO, Fuji!!

Personally, I think the X-Pro1's AF is quite good. I've used the X-T1 professionally for a year, and also have an X100T so I'm familiar with the state of the art cameras, but the difference isn't all the internet forums might have you believe. I feel the real differences that affect me are the lack of "Preview exposure plus WB" (X-Pro1 just previews exposure) and the poor focus peaking in low light. In fact, the low light focus peaking is similar to the X100T upon release, before it was improved by FW update.

I think that when Fuji released the FW3.40 upgrade they only included some aspects of the release that went to the more modern cameras not because they wanted to differentiate the newer models, but because the processors of the older cameras just wouldn't be able to handle some of the changes. This doesn't explain why things such as classic chrome weren't included, but I can readily believe that things such as preview exposure plus WB may have been too much for the camera to handle without affecting screen refresh rate etc.
