Registering Fuji lens: what's the Model Number?

I was trying to register a new lens, XC 50-230mm, yet the registration form does not accept anything I'm trying to put into the box "Model number". Does anybody have an idea how to properly fill that data?

Thank you mikEm13, I have OIS II, tried following your advice, still no success. The damn form replies "Pruduct can't be blank".

Can't figure out this puzzle...

You need serial number, not lens name.

It's engraved on lens body at bottom side close to bayonet, or printed on attached sticker:

I tried it.

Start typing XC in Model Number field, then pick your lens in dropped list (instead of hand typing). Then go to next field.

Should be OK.

If list don't drops - something wrong with browser.

Now it worked.

I figure, the first time around it didn't 'cause I would start typing FUJINON, and there was no dropdown list to choose from.

My bad.

The serial number IS hard to find. On my 10-24 it is on the curved bit of the lens just next to the bayonet - no need to take the lens off the camera. Very small letters and numbers, in a darkish grey. Having put it in to the claim form, including the lens model from the drop-down list, it worked fine. You do need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If you are having trouble reading or finding the serial number its written into the EXIF metadata of every image taken with that lens
