The focus thing is really annoying. Stuff that my Canon 7d mk1 would snap to without any problem at all just seem to baffle the Fuji. An extended flat surface and some sorts of cloud seem to baffle it. It can be worked around of course, but it really shouldn't be a problem in the first place. As for the rest your list, can't say I've had those. As the earlier comment says, it might be worth getting yours checked out.

Ah, it's ok, I've worked out how to do this using shutter speed. I've only ever done it on cine cameras with shutter angle before. All's well 😅

Having the exact same issue. Let us know if you figure this out, but I suspect Fujifilm messed up with the firmware update.

X100vi Godox xpro trigger  godox v1 flash  the test button on the trigger fires the flash. The camera seems to see the trigger attached and on, but the camera doesn’t fire the flash. Is it a setting or is there something wrong with my camera? I was at a workshop and borrowed a pocket wizard that worked with my Nikon, but not with the Fuji. 

I also have a Fuji XT-5. Mine doesn't have these problems. You should send it in for servicing.
