What am I doing wrong?

I download the firmware on my mac. I click on SAVE FILE. It downloads.

I then click on "Search" to the right of DAT download. It is in DOWNLOADS.

I move it to the sd card. I insert it in the X-T2 and it doesn't see any firmware.

Do I need to download to a specific app, instead of SAVE FILE?

Did you get it to work? Remember the only thing on the card is the file name and it must be    FWUP0010.DAT    you must remove any other numbers, letters. or any thing that is not exactly like the file name. If you downloaded the file twice or more the mac will add a number to the file    FWUP0010.-1DAT  or a two, three .....  Those are the number of times you downloaded the file to the mac.   It MUST look like this and only this   FWUP0010.DAT Format the card before you download again. Good luck and let us know

Once you have the firmware loaded onto the SD card and it's inserted into the XT2, press and hold DISP on the back of the camera then turn the camera on. The firmware update dialog should run immediately.

As MikEm13 mentioned, the card has to be formatted before you put the firmware on there.
