X-Tran III Raw Conversion - ON1 Photo Raw 2017

I just started using ON1 Photo Raw 2017 for converting and processing raw photos taken with my X-T2 and I find it does an excellent job.  I use it as a plug-in to Photoshop. I had been using Iridient Developer and Capture One 10, but I find that the ON1 software is much better.  Has anyone else on the forum had a chance to try this software?  This is a link to a review of the software:

Yes I have tried it and even purchased it. I really like the user interface but I still find the results slightly wormy. Especially if you try to push it. I think it has real potential though.

No compression = no deal! At least for now.

 

Are there any objectieve things to say in favor of ON1? Only telling us that it is better is hardly something to discuss about.. please give us a more expansive overview of it's merits!

 

One things they claim is performance. How fast is it at loading files? Lightroom is agonizingly slow when loading, Iridient is also not fast, and there is no way to see it "thinking" which is kind of anoying.
