It's not possible to transfer images over wifi to a Mac?

It looks like you can do this with a PC using the AutoSave software but there's nothing available for a Mac.  The only option would be to connect with USB.  Correct me if I missed anything.

So I waited for the new firmware to come out.  I still can't transfer images from my XT2 to my Mac either with a cable or over wifi.  Tethering works fine but I don't care about that.  Any ideas?

I may have to.  I can't even find out if it's possible to transfer over usb or wifi.  I purchased the new MacBook Pro which requires some extra adapters.  I'm trying to reduce the amount of cables and adapters in my life.

I tried it for a while when I first got my XT-10, but I was not really impressed with wifi transfer speeds compared to how fast a card reader can move multi-gigabytes of data, so I never really kept up with it. As the saying goes: YMMV.

 

Edit: I just checked, Fuji's site says they are working to update this for full Sierra (10.12) compatibility, so it should not be too long. They said the same about the FinePix studio software, but it was okay, and then they updated it.

Open the .dmg and right-click the PCAutoSaveInstaller. Select "Show package contents" (Paketinhalt zeigen in German). Open Contents/MacOS and doubleclick the PCAutoSaveInataller executable. The installation should then work without the error message.

I did get PCAutosave to install and run on my Mac.  Thanks!  Unfortunately, it takes several minutes to transfer one jpg and it eventually failed while attempting image number two.

Does this happen all the time? I think I had a similar problem some time ago. After one ore two more attempts the transfer worked for me.
