Hello All!

I'm new to this forum and new to Fuji all together, and somewhat of a beginner photographer, so I appreciate any help with my questions.

I was using the joystick to manually select my autofocus point, is there a quick/easy way switch from manually selecting autofocus point back to letting the camera choose what to focus on? I'm doing this with the front switch set to Single autofocus.

Thanks!

Try switching from single point AF Mode to Wide.

Scroll down to the AF Mode section. This does require quickly moving through the menus to make the change.

p.s. Welcome to the forum.

I agree with Jerryy - although AF Mode can be selected with a function button which speeds it up just a bit

Not sure if same on your model. On my XT-30 I quickly pish in my joystick and spin the dial which increases the focus range to auto or in other direction it goes to single point. I keep on single point and choose focus point with joystick. Then if I hand my camera to someone to take a shot, I change to auto per the above.
